Lian Li has come out with their new full-tower PC case, the PC-V2130. Supporting mini-ITX, micro-ATX, ATX and XL-ATX motherboards, this aluminum case is equipped with a brushed aluminum front panel door, a front-placed I/O panel with 4x USB 3.0, 1x eSATA and 2x audio ports, five 5.25-inch drive bays, eight 3.5-inch bays spread across individual trays, four 2.5-inch bays along the back side of the cage, three 3.5-inch bays behind the motherboard tray, ten expansion slots and has six fans (2x 140mm – front, 2x 140mm – top, 1x 140mm – bottom, 1x 120mm – rear). Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet. [Lian Li]

Lian-Li PC Case Doubles as a Desk

We’ve featured a couple of PC casemods that incorporated a computer’s hardware into a desk. If Lian-Li pushes through with its prototype, you won’t need to be a modder to have a desk and PC case in one.

The DK01 is basically a tower case with legs. It has all of the features of an enthusiast PC chassis, including LEDs, a transparent glass panel and tool-less mounting. Lian-Li also said that the monitor mount shown in the image above will be included with the desk if it goes into production.

    Lian Li has unveiled another one of its upcoming full-tower PC case, the PC-D8000. This aluminum case supports for micro-ATX, ATX, EATX and HPTX motherboards, and features a front-placed I/O panel with 4x USB 3.0 ports, five 5.25-inch external drive bays, twenty 3.5-inch internal HDD bays, a slide-out motherboard tray, eleven expansion slots and has one 120mm rear fan.     Lian-Li Industrial Co., Ltd, today unveiled the new PC-7H brushed aluminum mid tower chassis. Supporting ATX and micro-ATX motherboards, the PC-7H can hold up to four 3.5-inch hard drives and a single 2.5-inch SSD in the HDD cage in the front of the chassis. There are also three 5.25-inch drive bays above the HDD cage. Two 140mm fans in the front of the chassis pull cool air into the chassis, while the bottom 140mm fan blows air directly on the HDD cage. And finally, the rear 120mm exhaust fan pulls hot air out of the chassis. The Lian Li PC-7H also provides a space for three additional 120mm fans. Other features include a removable front panel, an I/O panel on the top of the chassis that contains two USB 3.0 and HD audio connections. Available in silver, black, and internal black, the Lian Li PC-7H mid tower chassis will be released in the USA and Canada later this month for $119. [techPowerUp]

    Lian Li Engineers Train PC Case: The Choo Choo Computer

    I think this is one of the strangest off-the-shelf computer cases I’ve ever seen. Lian Li has announced the launch of a odd little computer case that resembles an old-fashioned train. The case comes in two versions, and one version of the case can even move on its track.

    The case is designed to hold mini-ITX motherboards and has three slots for 2.5-inch hard drives. The case also has a pair of USB 3.0 ports on the side and ships with an integrated 300 W 80 Plus certified power supply. The CK101 case measures 185 mm wide by 258 mm high by 515 mm deep and is made from aluminum.

    The train case has a single external slim optical drive bay and has a single 120 mm rear fan. The Lian Li CK101 Standard PC case, which doesn’t move, will sell for $229(USD). The CK101 Premium version that does move back and forth in its tracks will sell for $379.

    The Lian Li PC-CK101 Train case will be available at the end of September.

    Lian Li has once again expanded its line of full-tower PC cases by showing off the PC-A75X. This aluminum case supports for micro-ATX, ATX, E-ATX and HPTX motherboards, and is equipped with a top-placed I/O panel with 2x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0 and 2x audio ports, two 5.25-inch external drive bays, twelve 3.5-inch internal HDD bays, three 2.5-inch internal HDD bays (using 3.5-inch bays), eleven expansion slots and has four fans (3x 140mm fans – front, 1x 120mm fan – rear).     Here’s a look at another upcoming mini tower PC case from Lian Li, the PC-V650. This aluminum case supports for micro-ATX and ATX motherboards, and features a front placed I/O panel with 1x USB 3.0 port, 2x USB 2.0 ports, 2x audio ports and a card reader, one 5.25-inch external drive bay, an HDD cage that supports for seven 3.5-inch HDDs and four 2.5-inch HDDs, seven expansion slots and has four fans (2x 140mm fans – front, 1x 140mm fan – top, 1x 120mm fan – rear). The PC-V650 will go on sale from the end of August for $199 MSRP in black and silver color options. [Lian Li]

Called the PC-B12, this aluminum case supports for micro-ATX and ATX motherboards, and features a top-placed I/O panel with 2x USB 3.0 and 2x audio ports, two 5.25-inch external drive bays, an HDD cage that supports for three 3.5-inch HDDs and one 2.5-inch HDD, eight expansion slots and has three fans (2x 140mm fans – front, 1x 120mm fan – rear).
