We’re live from Nokia World 2011!

You’ve probably already gathered from our liveblog teaser and early look at one of tomorrow’s announcements, but we’re just settling in at Nokia World. And it really does feel like we’re a world away from the conference’s host city on London — the venue Nokia selected to host its growing event is quite a distance from Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and that famous big clock tower downtown. Stay tuned for plenty of Windows Phone (and perhaps even Symbian) coverage throughout the week, and don’t forget our liveblog of today’s keynote!

Pro tip: Use the “nokiaworld2011” tag for direct access to this week’s Nokia news!

Liveblog from AsiaD: Andy Rubin, SVP of Mobile at Google

Thought today’s festivities were over from Hong Kong? Think again. While Samsung and Google tag-teamed the morning with the introduction of the Galaxy Nexus, the first-ever AsiaD conference is kicking off as the sun sets over Victoria Harbour. The opening keynote is quite the impressive one, with Google’s own Senior Vice President of Mobile, Andy Rubin, on the docket. Mr. Rubin’s no stranger to these events — in fact, we’ve liveblogged his interviews twice from All Things D events — and we’re expecting quite the talk tonight following the official unveiling of Ice Cream Sandwich. Join us after the break for the liveblog!

Motorola’s Android future to be revealed later today, get your liveblog here!

Promising us something faster, thinner and stronger later today, Motorola has paired up with Verizon to make some big announcements. We’re going to be smack dab in the middle of it all, chronicling every little detail on our liveblog. “Sandwiched” between Blackberry’s DevCon and another dynamic duo, we’re still intrigued as to what (or even how many) phones and tablets Moto has crammed up their capacious Google-monogrammed sleeves. Could it spoil Samsung’s party with some Ice Cream Sandwich news of its own? Who knows, but it’s going to be a hectic day for tech news. Best grab another cup of coffee, and bookmark this page to keep up.

Feel free to throw your time zone and day in the comments below, we may even +1 you if you do.
