In what can literally be described as a case of cooking while high, a kitchen fire in a Norwalk, Calif. conodo Thursday evening led firefighters and police to a $6 million pot stash.
When emergency responders arrived on the scene, smoke was coming out of the windows. They entered the building to rescue any possible victims and saw that the source of the fire was food burning on the range top.
After stamping out the fire, deputies explored the condo and discovered what turned out to be over 2,000 pounds of marijuana packages in several rooms.
