Tiger Woods Live During Round 4 At AT&T National At Congressional

BETHESDA, Md. — A day after playing in front of less than 75 fans due to horrible overnight storms in the Washington, D.C. area, the galleries following Tiger Woods in Sunday’s final AT&T National grouping promise to be quite large.

Woods is set to tee off at 1:15 p.m. EDT with leader Brendon de Jonge and Bo Van Pelt off the first tee at Congressional CC.

Woods is coming off a bogey-free, 4-under 67 on Saturday that vaulted him into a share of second place with Van Pelt and Seung-Yul Noh, with all three one shot behind de Jonge.

‘Predictive Policing’ Technology Lowers Crime In Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles police are aiming to beat suspects to the scene of a crime by using computers to predict where trouble might occur.

The Los Angeles Police Department is the largest agency to embrace an experiment known as “predictive policing,” which crunches data to determine where to send officers to thwart would-be thieves and burglars. Time Magazine called it one of the best inventions of 2011.

Israel-Egypt Relations: Netanyahu And Peres Write To New Egyptian President Morsi

JERUSALEM — Israel’s president and prime minister have sent separate letters to Egypt’s new Islamist president, congratulating him on his election victory and calling for continued peace between the neighboring countries, Israeli officials said Sunday.

Israeli officials have grown jittery over the future of relations with Egypt since last year’s ouster of longtime President Hosni Mubarak. The election of Mohammed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood has deepened those concerns. Morsi took office Saturday.

Rozanne Gold: Polenta: The Next Big Thing?

While the good people of Tuscany are known as “bean-eaters” because of their culinary proclivity towards legumes, the Piemontese locals are known as polentone. Apparently, everyone in Piedmont eats polenta all the time, and have done so before the Roman empire!

Keith Olbermann: Obamacare Ruling Gives Mitt Romney ‘Two Insurmountable Problems’ (VIDEO)

Keith Olbermann believes that the Supreme Court’s recent health care ruling leaves Mitt Romney with not one, but two “insurmountable problems.”

He was speaking on ABC News “This Week” on Sunday. The court’s historic decision to uphold the individual mandate dominated the roundtable discussion. After declaring the outcome a “victory” for Obama, Olbermann said that the outcome was only bad news for Romney.

He argued that Romney’s first problem was that he was running against a program very similar to his own signature health care legislation in Massachusetts. The second, he said, was that the candidate now has to go against Chief Justice Roberts.

Chuck Schumer: Republicans Will Lose If They Campaign On Repealing Obamacare

WASHINGTON — A top Senate Democrat thinks Republicans will lose in the November elections if they campaign on repealing health care reform.

“If Republicans make as their No. 1 issue the repeal of health care, they’re certainly going to lose the election in the House and the Senate — and the presidency,” Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said on CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday.

After the Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of the health care reform law on Thursday, Republicans in Congress renewed their vows to repeal it — vows they repeated again on Sunday talk shows.

‘Ted’ Beats ‘Magic Mike’ At Box Office With $54.1 Million

It was all about the raunch this weekend at the box office. “Ted” opened as the No. 1 movie with $54.1 million, outdoing “Magic Mike” and its stripper fare, though both films over-performed, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Mark Wahlberg and Seth MacFarlane comedy about a dirty talking teddy bear’s debut is the best showing ever for an original R-rated comedy. “Ted” shattered the original R-rated comedy box office record, previously set by “The Hangover” in 2009, as predicted after its impressive Friday performance.

“Magic Mike,” Steven Soderbergh’s buzz-about male striptease dramedy loosely based on star Channing Tatum’s life, grossed $39.2 million

Treyarch doesn’t even know who’s developing Black Ops on Vita

As part of Sony’s all-encompassing push to prove the PlayStation Vita’s relevance at last month’s E3 trade show, it made sure to mention that a special version of Call of Duty: Black Ops would be making its way to the portable console. However, aside from a brief tease, we didn’t learn much about the game. But we can’t feel too bad, because apparently even the company that’s in charge of the Call of Duty franchise doesn’t know much.

In a recent interview, the company’s director of communications John Rafacz was asked what studio would be developing the Vita title. He apparently said, “I don’t know. With regards to the Vita, all I can tell you is that it’s quite literally declassified … When I know, I’ll tell you.” Rafacz was described as sounding “confused” when answering the seemingly simple question.

Among the other Black Ops speculation is that a Wii U version of Call of Duty: Black Ops II is in the works. But so far, the only officially announced console versions are those for the PS3 and Xbox 360. In summary, even though Sony is trying to make you believe that the Vita is a platform that developers are interested in, those very developers don’t even know details about Vita games that they’re involved with.

Facebook + Ice Cream = Facecream?

The iconic Facebook “f” logo is pretty much everywhere these days, and I bet as many people recognize it as the Nike Swoosh or the Apple logo. And while Facebook hasn’t gone too nuts slapping its logo onto merchandise at this point, that doesn’t mean that we can’t visualize what that might look like.

For example, designer Tomislav Zvonarić (designer of the equally offbeat Facebook bed) came up with these Facebook ice cream bars. Why? I say why not? Tom also recommends that Facebook replace the “Like” button with a “Lick” button to go along with the theme.

Sure, the “f” shape might be a bit impractical, and encourage drips on a hot day, but I still think I wouldn’t turn down a Facebook ice cream bar if somebody gave me one. Then again, I wouldn’t turn down any ice cream bar if you gave me one. Though the name “Facecream” sounds more like a beauty product for doing away with age spots and zits than something I’d want to eat. Or something even nastier – if your mind is in the gutter.
