Matthew Vines Won’t Rest in Defending Gay Christians

ONE year after Matthew Vines was forced to leave the Wichita, Kan., church he had attended since birth — not because he is gay, but because he tried to convince people there was nothing wrong with that — he was sitting facing a crowd of 235 Christians, most of them gay or lesbian, at the Marble Collegiate Church on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

Throughout the evening, various guests called him an inspiration and a messenger. One woman suggested he is an angel.

Voltage Cycles Sport electric bike announced

Voltage Cycles Sport is the company’s (Voltage Cycles) first production electric bike ever to roll out, and I must say, it does look rather ordinary at first glance. That is not a bad thing though, so do not take my statement in the wrong way. For starters, the Sport will boast of classic American styling and engineering that will definitely appeal to the masses, especially the more patriotic ones. The design itself is not only nice to look at, but must be functional and practical enough to meet the demands of everyday transportation. Let us see what else the Voltage Cycles Sport has to offer in the extended post, shall we?

Marty Schlesinger, President of Voltage Cycles, said, “The Voltage Cycles Sport is for anyone who wants to integrate a healthy, environmentally friendly, and economical form of transportation into their lifestyle. Voltage Cycles represents the new road ahead for personal transportation, and we are looking to earn our place in the family garage.”

Integrated into the vintage Sport design would lie a modern electrical propulsion system which is capable of pushing the Sport to the leading edge of technological advancement, and Voltage Cycles hope that this will be able to deliver a “Wow!” factor that cannot be found elsewhere. The Sport in particular is said to be engineered to be tough, reliable, and easily serviced, sporting (pun not intended) a sleek steel frame that is manufactured to handle the added weight and stress put on it by the electrical propulsion system, while making use of industry standard bicycle components.

Components that are subject to normal wear include the tires and brake pads, and these will be readily available and easy to replace so you need not worry about running out spare parts or anything of the sort. As for its propulsion system, it will make use of the latest battery technology so that you can experience the power and range required to get you where you need to go without busting a huge hole in your wallet.

Expect the Sport to be fully juice in 4 hours using a standard 110V household outlet, where a fully charged bike can offer a range between 30 to 40 miles of powered riding. So, any takers?

‘Modern Family’ Season 4 Photo: Pregnant Gloria Takes Center Stage (PHOTO)

Sofia Vergara’s fake baby bump is front and center in the new “Modern Family” Season 4 cast photo.

Featuring the entire cast in the waiting room of a therapists office, Vergara’s character, Gloria Pritchett, looks pretty far along. Manny (Rico Rodriguez) can be seen studying up on the new baby while the rest of the characters are in their own little worlds.

“Modern Family” Season 4 got off to a bumpy start when a contract dispute with Vergara, Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ty Burrell delayed production. Arguing for a raise, the five actors didn’t show up to the first table read and filed a lawsuit to void their contracts. Eventually everything was settled, with the actors getting a raise, and production began.

Jason Segel’s Best Food Tweets

If you don’t already love Jason Segel for his performance of Dracula’s Lament or because he changed his wayward ways to become a better man for Michelle Williams, you (fellow food lovers) will definitely be celebrity crushing on him with the knowledge that he really loves cheese — almost as much as we do.

But his love of food doesn’t stop with cheese and bread pairings, not even close. He’s got some serious respect for sandwiches and a deep love for pie. And while Aaron Paul had some interesting things to say about food, and Rashida Jones did too, we’re pretty sure that Jason Segel’s love of food runs as deep as ours — which is way deeper than Willy Wonka’s chocolate river.

Segel even put into words a wish we had always felt, but just never realized. He wished that the world would change their idea of beauty so we could all just eat more. Well said Segel, well said.

Fortunately, the UK’s largest (and wobbliest) games retailer is aware of the impediment and has decided to offer free Wi-Fi in all 341 of its premises before Christmas. The service will be part of BT WiFi‘s network of hotspots and aim to give gamers access to “all the information they need to buy there and then.”
