There’s pretty much anything you can imagine, and only two feet can separate a robotics company from a mobile gadget. But it’s the opportunity investors look for I guess. Samsung blows iPhone 5 away in newspaper ad

So the iPhone 5 was revealed just last week, and much has been said about the device. Even if you are the most loyal Apple fan, you cannot deny the fact that the improvements made to Apple’s best iPhone yet are not that revolutionary, but rather, they seem to catch up with the rest of the competition in purely hardware terms alone. Need some solid proof? Why not see what the Samsung Galaxy S3 has to offer in the upcoming ad that will run in newspapers and check it out yourself? This ad will touch purely on the key specifications in both handsets, and you can see that most of the hardware differences have Samsung taking the upper hand.

However, one must bear in mind that just like any good ad that takes jibes against the product’s competition, the South Korean consumer electronics giant does list a slew of software features which are specific just to the Galaxy S3 alone, including sharing photos wirelessly as well as tilt to zoom, without listing down any of the iPhone 5’s specific features. What do you think of this ad?

SAN DIEGO (AP) — The Tennessee Titans are 0-2 and beyond frustrated.

“It’s the same old, same old, and we didn’t really look good at all,” running back Chris Johnson said after the Titans lost for the ninth straight time to the San Diego Chargers, 38-10 on Sunday.

“Not just the running game but the offense as a whole did not look good and we didn’t look like an NFL team,” Johnson said.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 confirmed for T-Mobile US

More than a week ago, we found out that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has a high chance of appearing on T-Mobile, coming under the guise of the Samsung SGH-T889. Well, fast forward to today, and it has been confirmed that T-Mobile will be on the receiving end of the Galaxy Note, where it will sport similar specifications underneath the hood as that of the international variant, while running on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network to boot. You will not need to wait for an operating system update, either, as the Galaxy Note 2 will have Android 4.1 Jelly Bean pre-installed right out of the box.

Word has it that Samsung is hard at work in testing Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the T-Mobile version, compiling test builds once every four to five days, while distributing them to their device testers via OTA. At this point in time, the T889UVALIC Firmware is being tested, freshly compiled on September 15th. All seems to run hunky dory as at press time, and we do hope to see the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 arrive on T-Mobile sooner rather than later lest it loses the “wow” factor in the highly competitive smartphone market.

London Underground Circuit Maps

Those with an artistic streak are better able to see things from a different angle, and the same applies to Japanese designer Yuri Suzuki who managed to conjure this rather delightful image of the London Underground Circuit Maps. The title of his artwork is pretty much self explanatory, where it will be on show to the public at the London Design Museum until January 13th next year. The whole idea of ‘thrift’ was part of Suzuki’s work, where he continues to look into communication systems in consumer electronics.

Through the clever and strategic positioning of a certain speaker, resistor and battery component throughout the entire map’s layout, Suzuki finally ended with the make-up of the London Underground. This also allows users to understand visually the complex networks which are more often than not associated with electricity, as well as how power is generated within a radio itself. Someone tell Yuri Suzuki to come up with circuit maps of major metropolitan cities around the world and start a collection of these, we are quite sure that plenty of people will be interested in them.
