Windows Store Apps Cracked And Pirated

It has been drummed into the heads and minds of many, that if you are using pirated software, it is as good as using stolen goods. Assuming you do not want to have any kind of goodwill with Santa this coming Christmas, you might want to find out just how you are able to crack and pirate apps from the Windows Store. It goes without saying, there is no 100% foolproof security measures, and despite Microsoft’s best efforts in ensuring that the Windows Store remains secure, Betanews claims that it has discovered an application which was posted over at My Digital Life which can be used to convert trial applications on the Windows Store into fully paid applications – all with a single press of a button.

This does sound too good to be true, and it sure as heck brings back memories in the past where old school DOS-based games which required a key or passcode to work could be cracked by overwriting the .EXE file of the game itself, which came included on the pirated disc. It seems that the Wsservice_crk has been available for some time already, first appearing on October 30th before it was on the receiving end of a bunch of updates. Apparently, once you have patched some of your system files, you are able to transform free trial applications available on the Store into full versions.

Ford SYNC Improved, Gets Smarter Voice Recognition

Ford has just announced that they will be updating SYNC, which is their Microsoft-powered in-car entertainment and connectivity platform that comes alongside with the MyFord Touch interface, and these will debut in the 2014 Ford Fiesta. The updated SYNC in the 2014 Ford Fiesta is said to boast of a spanking new 6.5-inch LCD touchscreen display, but apart from that aesthetics, the system will also feature a smarter voice recognition system alongside improved accuracy, in addition to a more natural manner of engaging with it courtesy of a flattened audio command structure.

With the new and improved SYNC, drivers are able to just say “play ” in order to request a specific artist, song, album or genre. Not only that, drivers are also able to mention “play FM 101.9″ instead of having to explicitly inform the system as to whether you would want to tune in to regular radio or satellite radio. Imagine just blurting out “play CNN”, and the system is smart enough to figure out that you would want to tune in to a satellite radio station. Ford claims it is more accurate than ever before, and we will just have to take their word for it.

Chrysler Town & Country S minivan slated for the LA Auto Show

Chrysler plans to show off its upcoming 2013 Town & Country S minivan at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. The vehicle has a sleek design and offers a variety of features, including a Blu-ray player, a ParkView rear camera, Blindspot Monitoring, and rain-sensitive windshield wipers. This is rounded out with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, and a decent fuel economy of 17mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway.

The Town & Country S comes in Brilliant Black, Stone White, Billet Silver, and Deep Cherry Red, and features “revised trim that adds contrast” to the minivan’s exterior. There’s a black chrome grille, blacked out bezels around the headlights, and 17-inch polished aluminum wheels with pockets painted black. According to the press release, the headlight bezels have delayed availability.

Keeping in line with the “black” theme, the interior is monotone black, with Black Torino leather seats featuring grey stitching. The appliques are glossy Piano Black, as are the center and upper consoles and the headliner. You’ll find the “S” logo embroidered on the seats and featured in the instrument panel as well as on the exterior of the vehicle.

Chrysler’s CEO and President Saad Chehab offered this statement. “We tailored the new Town & Country S for the active and style minded consumers. It’s the downtown style for the Town & Country’s uptown looks. It’s more than fitting that we unveil this vehicle in Los Angeles given Town & Country S represents yet another modern take of ’313′ in the ’310.’”

Arduino project has Sega Rally cabinets steer RC cars like the game, just with more bruised ankles video

We’ve seen attempts at recreating video game racing in real life. For Artica and The Arcade Man, there’s no desire to preserve the illusion — they’ve jury-rigged two Sega Rally cabinets to control the strictly real-world racing experiences of RC cars. Their two-machine setup from the recent Codebits VI event in Portugal yanks the original arcade computing power in favor of an Arduino-powered system that maps the steering wheel and pedals to the tiny vehicles through a wireless Xbee link. The setup does make a nod to traditional video games through the cameras, however: drivers can pick either an arcade-style overhead camera or jump to a cabin-level view. The only true challenge during the build process was to find viable displays for the rigs, as the original CRTs proved too problematic for the retrofit. Some might consider it sacrilege to gut a classic cabinet for the sake of some RC action, but the end result is a racing experience that’s at once very familiar and yet surprisingly fresh. Spectators had better watch their feet, though — the competition might get fierce out there.
