DaNita Wilson, Georgia Teacher, Accused Of Having Sex With 7 High School Students (VIDEO)

Georgia high school teacher DaNita Wilson was arrested Tuesday after the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) launched an inquiry into her conduct.

The married, 32-year-old math teacher is accused of having sex with seven students, according to multiple reports. Wilson is facing at least seven counts of sexual assault, however more charges may be added since the investigation is still in progress.

While six of the Charlton County High School students in question were older than 16 — the age of consent in Georgia — at the time of the alleged crimes, one student was 15, assistant special agent Stacy Carson confirmed to CNN.

Price Middle School Shooting: Wounded Student Recovering After Fellow Teen Opened Fire

ATLANTA — A student opened fire at his middle school Thursday afternoon, wounding a 14-year-old in the neck before an armed officer working at the school was able to get the gun away, police said.

Multiple shots were fired in the courtyard of Price Middle School just south of downtown about 1:50 p.m. and the one boy was hit, Atlanta Police Chief George Turner said. In the aftermath, a teacher received minor cuts, he said.

Amazon’s officially pumped its original programming push up to 11. The mega-retailer’s studio has just green-lit five kids series, enlisting the help of some of the industry’s top creators. The list includes Teeny Tiny Dogs, produced by The Jim Henson Company, Creative Galaxy, created by Blues Clues‘ Angela Santomero and Oz Adventures, based on the classic L. Frank Baum books. Once production is wrapped, the shows will be available for free on Amazon Instant Video, Prime Instant Video, Lovefilm UK and Lovefilm Germany. Firefighter Rescues Dog While Responding To Massive Accident On Detroit Freeway (PHOTO)

After a sudden whiteout in wintery Detroit Thursday diminished visibility “in a matter of seconds,” a 7-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl from Windsor, Ontario and one adult died in a massive accident on I-75. In the wake of the accident, however, one photographer caught a stirring moment between a firefighter and his rescuee.

Mitt Romney Aides Get Big Post-Election Payments To Their Companies

WASHINGTON — The campaign of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney made large payments to the companies of some top Romney aides in the final five weeks of 2012.

In the year-end campaign reports filed on Thursday, the Romney campaign — through Romney for President and Romney Victory — reported spending $27 million from Nov. 27 through Dec. 31. Thirty-eight percent of that spending went to just three companies with close ties to Romney.

The largest was a $4.75 million payment to VG LLC, a fundraising company set up by Romney finance chairman Spencer Zwick, who is known as the sixth Romney son. Targeted Victory, the digital consulting firm run by Romney adviser Zac Moffatt, received $3.84 million in waning weeks of 2012. And SCM Associates, a Massachusetts-based fundraising company run by Stephen Meyer, received $1.7 million.
