LeBron James All-Star Dunks: Off-The-Backboard Ally Oop Starts Run Of 1st Quarter Slams (VIDEO)

LeBron James again opted not to participate in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest, but that doesn’t mean he won’t throw down the best dunks of the weekend.

Early in the first quarter of the 2013 NBA All-Star Game in Houston, James and his Miami Heat teammate Dwyane Wade combined on (yet another) impressive fastbreak flush that showed why everyone is clamoring for him to participate in the event in the first place. After a West score, the East pushed the ball back up the court quickly, with James finding Wade out ahead in transition. Rather than score himself, Wade bounced the ball off the backboard.

James soared in to emphatically finish off the play.

Chris Bosh Faked Out By Chris Paul, Tony Parker With Same Move At 2013 NBA All-Star Game (VIDEO)

Landing a spot the NBA All-Star Game is obviously quite an honor. But the selection also comes with quite a bit of responsibility.

You can’t let the best players in the game make you look foolish.

Unfortunately for Chris Bosh, his All-Star peers got the best of him in the first half on Sunday night. Late in the second quarter, Bosh went out to defend CP3. That was his first mistake on the play. Paul pounded out a few crossover dribbles before bouncing the ball through Bosh’s legs, completely freezing the Heat big man.

Most Traffic Jams Are Caused By Just a Handful of Idiots

Deep in your heart you know it: there are like two drivers out there on the road that are causing all the traffic jams and one of those assholes is the guy right in front of you. LG’s 5.5-inch Optimus G Pro is the first with a Snapdragon 600 quad-core CPU

LG finally showed off the XL 5.5-inch version of its upcoming Optimus G Pro at the end of a Facebook promo last week, and now it’s revealed a launch date in Korea, more specs and a window for its arrival in North America. Also of note? Its CPU is the just-announced quad-core Snapdragon 600 that’s supposed to be a milder upgrade (compared to the potentially 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800) to its predecessor, the powerful S4 Pro. New software tweaks include a dual record that uses both cameras simultaneously and VR Panorama that appears to be similar to Google’s Photo Sphere stitching.

Besides the extra screen space and updated internals, the larger version also sports a slightly larger battery than the Japanese version announced previously by NTT Docomo, with 3,140mAh compared to 3,000, but keeps the 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera, microSDXC slot and LTE. The phone will be released on local carriers SK Telecom, KT and LG Uplus on Wednesday for 968,000 won ($897), while a North American launch is mentioned for Q2 along with the Japanese release. We’ll find out more about this phone — and likely a few others — at MWC 2013 later this week, for now check out the press release after the break for more specs.
