Cordless Neuromuscular Back Pain Reliever

Some of us do experience issues with our back, and let me say this, it is not a nice problem to have at all. Of course, we have seen the resident chiropractor but to no avail, and all the different kinds of so-called “grandmother’s remedies” and tips that you picked up from friends and family members do not seem to work, either. Don’t give up on your back just yet, especially after it has supported you all these years, why not give the $199.95 Cordless Neuromuscular Back Pain Reliever a chance?

The Cordless Neuromuscular Back Pain Reliever will boast of a streamlined cordless electrotherapy system that delivers hours of drug-free pain relief from lower back pain. It is touted to be as powerful as professional equipment, where the device itself employs Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) which are actually harmless electrical pulses that block pain signals which pass through nerves to the brain. The system is also capable of increasing blood flow to the area in order to promote healing and relaxation. This thin, flexible unit will not impede movement, as it can be worn under clothing, and you will not need to have it removed between treatments. It is said that these adhesive electrode pads will remain securely in place for up to 5 applications, where this purchase includes 40 gel pads that ought to last for approximately three months, and it is powered by a couple of AAA batteries.

Best Buy making online price matching permanent

Remember back in October when Best Buy announced it would price match online retailers during the holiday season? It looks like the electronics retailer is making that a permanent policy now. Best Buy announced that it would be fighting off “showrooming” by price-matching a handful of both local and online retail competitors permanently.

Starting March 3, Best Buy’s “Low Price Guarantee” policy will go into effect for all Best Buy locations, as well as its website, mobile stores, and even phone orders. The retailer plans to match prices for all local competitors, as well as a total of 19 online retailers, including Amazon, Apple, and Newegg. However, this good news will come at a cost.

Alongside the year-round price matching, Best Buy is lowering its return policy deadline from 30 days to 15 days, which isn’t too big of a deal, because that’s still over two weeks that you have to decide if you want to return something or not, but it may deter some shoppers from buying something too soon, with the fear that the return policy deadline will pass.

However, one of the things that the price matching policy doesn’t apply to are smartphones under contract, but the company says that things such as smartphone chargers. It seems more and more retailers are heading towards this route, with Target offering permanent price matching just last month. Could it soon be the end of ridiculous markups in brick-and-mortar stores?

Seismic Cloak Could Protect Your House, But Your Neighbors Won’t Be Happy

When someone starts talking about cloaking devices and technology, I immediately reference the Romulan tech of Star Trek. However, when it comes to earthquakes, scientists are working on a way to cloak entire structures from tremors.

The so-called “seismic cloak” would help protect buildings, power stations and dams from earthquakes, by using metamaterials to divert the seismic waves around an area. Seismic waves have a longer wavelength than light, making them a lot easier to push around. Recently, researchers in France performed the first large-scale test of seismic cloaking.

They came up with an array of empty holes that were able to redirect seismic waves so well that acoustic sensors beyond the second row were hardly able to detect the waves. Now, scientists have to address how to deal with real quakes that come in a number of different wavelengths, and figure out what to do with the redirected seismic energy, otherwise adjacent structures could end up bearing more than their fair share of the quake’s energy.

2014 Chevrolet SS unveiled, manual transmission is MIA

General Motors unveiled late last night the 2014 Chevrolet SS, which just so happens to be Chevrolet’s first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in 17 years. Of course, it’s essentially the same car as Holden’s Commodore SS V in Australia, but us Americans will be able to get in on the action thanks to Chevrolet (Holden and Chevrolet are both owned by General Motors).

The reveal of the new 2014 SS may not garner as much attention as the 2014 Corvette did last month, but the new SS should be able to turn some heads. However, unlike its Holden brethren, the new SS doesn’t come with a true manual transmission, and instead packs a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters that enable manual shifting in a way.

2014 Chevrolet SS

As far as the motor is concerned, the 2014 SS packs a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine (the same one used in the 2013 Corvette), and boasts 415 horsepower with 415 pound-feet of torque. This will allow drivers to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in “about 5 seconds,” according to GM. So, while the missing manual transmission is a bummer, the high-performance engine definitely makes up for it.

The 2014 SS is also replacing the Impala as GM’s official NASCAR vehicle starting this year, with the first race of the season, the Daytona 500, taking place this weekend. The company actually unveiled the new car at Daytona International Speedway in conjunction with the season-opening race. The Chevrolet Impala has been in the NASCAR circuit since 2007 when it replaced the Monte Carlo.

Best Buy to make online price-matching policy permanent

Best Buy to make online price-matching policy permanent

Best Buy started matching prices of online retailers in time for the holidays last year, and now it’s set to make the practice permanent in an effort to cure its showroom syndrome and turn window-shopping visitors into paying customers. Come March 3rd, the policy will go into effect for the outfit’s website, typical brick and mortar locations, Best Buy mobile shops and even phone orders. Officially dubbed the Low Price Guarantee, the plan will meet prices for all local competitors and a total of 19 online storefronts, including the likes of Amazon, Apple, Staples, NewEgg and Target. Also, the pricing arrangement has been expanded to additional products, but it still doesn’t cover on-contract smartphones and other items. While customers might end up saving some coin with the new deal, they’ll see the item return period drop from 30 days to 15. By the looks of it, company founder Richard Schulze might be getting his way with plans to save his struggling creation.

Westboro Baptist Church Claims Christians Are To Blame For ‘Fag Marriage’ (VIDEO)

The Westboro Baptist Church, an organization known for its anti-gay and anti-Semitic rhetoric, appears to be setting itself apart even from those who also follow the religion it claims to believe in.

In a video posted to YouTube this week, Westboro member Steven Drain delivers the group’s inflammatory and surprising claim that Christians are to blame for what the controversial Church terms “fag marriage.”

“What we mean is that mainline Christianity is chiefly to blame for legitimizing that filthy sin and elevating it to its status of acceptability in society,” Drain claims.
