Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Rumored

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini RumoredIs Samsung on a trend towards the miniaturization of their flagship devices? Perhaps, if the latest rumor is to be believed. When Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S3 was released, that particular effort was followed up some time after with the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini, although the latter did not really do as well as the folks over at Samsung would have expected, since there are also other mid-range devices like the Galaxy Ace hanging around. The latest rumor has it that the next generation Galaxy S4 from the South Korean conglomerate would be accompanied by the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini.

Since this is a rumor in its infancy, it goes without saying that there is no way to tell on just what the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will be able to deliver, although if one were to take history into consideration, then the Galaxy S4 Mini could very well be equipped with a 4” High Definition display, but it will most probably not come with a quad-core Exynos processor or 2GB RAM, and neither can we expect a 13-megapixel shooter at the back. Only time will tell, so do enjoy the mock image of the Galaxy S4 on the right for the moment.

Joe Biden Whispers To Boehner As Speaker Remains Seated During State Of The Union Address (GIF)

President Barack Obama stood before a joint session of Congress on Tuesday, delivering his fifth annual State of the Union address. In a speech that drew many applause lines from lawmakers and attending guests — around 80 according to a White House pool report from HuffPost’s Jen Bendery — Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-Ohio) appeared hard to please.

Obama’s call for a minimum wage hike was generally well-received. Many members of Congress on both sides of the aisle stood and applauded, but Boehner remained unimpressed. As Vice President Joe Biden sat down, he disappeared behind the president to whisper something to Boehner. Take a look at the GIF below and weigh in on what you think the vice president was saying to the Speaker in the comments below.

State Of The Union Education Proposals Focus On Nation’s Youngest, Oldest Students

During Tuesday night’s State of the Union address, President Barack Obama proposed several major education initiatives, including a big push to expand pre-kindergarten and a potential revamp of the federal aid system for college students.

“Tonight, I propose working with states to make high-quality preschool available to every child in America,” Obama said. “Every dollar we invest in high-quality early education can save more than seven dollars later on.”

Instead of focusing on the bulk of American public school students, the president’s proposals zeroed in on the margins, targeting the oldest and youngest members of the country’s education system.

President Obama Renews Call For Homeowner Aid

President Obama used the State of the Union address to renew a call for Congress to pass legislation that would permit some “responsible” homeowners a chance to refinance at current low rates, savings that could add up to $3,000 a year per family, he said.

“Right now, there’s a bill in this Congress that would give every responsible homeowner in America the chance to save $3,000 a year by refinancing at today’s rates,” Obama said. “Democrats and Republicans have supported it before. What are we waiting for? Take a vote, and send me that bill.”

An additional 8 million borrowers would qualify for the federal government’s Home Affordable Refinance Program, or HARP, under the proposed legislation. Most significantly, the bill would allow underwater homeowners, those who owe more than their home is worth, to participate.
