Natasha Harris Died From Drinking Too Much Coke, New Zealand Coroner Says

A New Zealand coroner has told an inquest that Natasha Harris, a mother of eight who suffered a heart attack in 2010, would not have died if she hadn’t been dependent on on Coca-Cola.

In findings released Feb. 12, coroner David Crerar wrote:

LG reveals 5.5-inch Optimus G Pro design with curved glass

LG reveals 55inch Optimus G Pro design with curved glass

Clearly, a lot of us wanted LG to reveal the design of the 5.5-inch Optimus G Pro as quickly as possible: just a day after a teaser, we’re looking at the complete picture. And it’s quite a looker, by all counts. While it has the familiar digital cube pattern on the back, it’s also using curved glass in black or white, which LG says produces a “2.5D” effect. Those other details that LG is willing to divulge are largely what we expected based on the Japanese edition, including a full HD (1080p) display and a quad-core processor that’s likely the Snapdragon S4 Pro. LG expects the larger G Pro to launch in late February, although it didn’t say whether or not this is limited to South Korea; based on the timing, though, we might get a peek at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Controversial rocker and State of the Union guest Ted Nugent previewed his trademark brand of political discourse on Tuesday, aggressively lashing out at a congressional critic who had denounced his presence at the address.

According to Politico, reporters asked Nugent to respond to criticism from Rep. Jim Langevin (D-R.I.), who has spearheaded a successful push to get his colleagues to invite victims of gun violence and their relatives to President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address.

“I threatened the President? Are you kidding me? Why don’t you just say that I’m a gay pirate? You’ve got to be kidding me,” he told them. “Why don’t you talk to the Secret Service guys who visited me and concluded nothing even hinted a threat against the president.”
