Michele Bachmann: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s Mouth Essentially Has ‘Duct Tape’ Over It (VIDEO)

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) blasted President Barack Obama and his administration on Thursday evening for its decision to not classify Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev as an enemy combatant.

Appearing on Fox News’ “On The Record” with Greta Van Susteren, Bachmann was critical of the Obama administration for filing charges too quickly “against terrorist number two,” the term she calls Tsarnaev. She classified him as an “Islamic jihadist,” deeming the alleged actions as a decision to “declare war.”

“Now we have essentially duct tape over the mouth of this terrorist and we can’t use him to link together this treasure trove of information,” said Bachmann, who is a lawyer. “The people hurt the most are the people watching your show and innocent Americans all across the United States. That shouldn’t be. That’s a miscarriage of justice.”

Facebook Purchases Mobile App Builder Parse

Facebook Purchases Mobile App Builder ParseFacebook did pick up some companies along the way to obtain new technology that they can use to further their social network cause, and just late last year, there was a rumor concerning a possible Facebook buyout of WhatsApp, although nothing came out of it, with the latest potential suitor of WhatsApp being touted to be Google for a cool $1 billion. Having said that, here is something more concrete – Facebook has just purchased mobile app builder Parse, where Parse specializes in powering mobile applications, which would clearly augment Facebook’s intention to roll out a more tablet- and smartphone-friendly social network down the road. The future, after all, lies in mobile devices.

So far, there has been no disclosure on how much money exchanged hands in this acquisition deal, although sources closed to the ground mentioned an $85 million buyout for the San Francisco-based Parse. Facebook posted, “By making Parse a part of the Facebook platform, we want to enable developers to rapidly build apps that span mobile platforms and devices.”

Leap Motion 3D Gesture Controller Launched Delayed To July 22

Leap Motion 3D Gesture Controller Launched Delayed To July 22Earlier in the week, we read on how Leap Motion and Google have come together to deliver a far out Google Earth experience. The thing is, you will need a Leap Motion sensor to go through a pseudo-Superman like experience, but the sad part about all of this is, an unexpected delay has cropped up. It seems that the Leap Motion sensor which would pave the way for such interactivity has been delayed until July 22nd later this year.

Chief Executive Michael Buckwald mentioned, “As a company, in good conscience, we couldn’t sacrifice the testing process. We have to push back the date…. We really believe in meeting our own expectations and I think a little additional testing is necessary to get there.”

Personally, I agree with this, as it makes sense to take more time to ensure that the product that is pushed out would not be gimped in any way, or rather, is as perfect as humanly possible, instead of being rushed just to meet a rollout date. Patience might be wearing thin though, as the Leap Motion 3D gesture controller was meant to ship sometime earlier this year before its official release date was pushed to May 13th afterwards.

Samsung Galaxy Core Leaked Before Official Announcement

Samsung Galaxy Core Leaked Before Official AnnouncementThose of us who are extremely busy bees might be holding positions of power and influence that require us to have more than a single mobile number. The thing is, keeping track of a couple of smartphones simultaneously is not the easiest thing to do on earth, and which is why there is a very good reason for the existence of Dual SIM phones, and Samsung’s upcoming GT-I8262 Galaxy Core smartphone is one of them. This will be a Dual SIM Android-powered smartphone that comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA display, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 768MB RAM, 8GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, and a 5-megapixel shooter at the back, coupled with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity in addition to GPS support.

It has already leaked out, and whispers are going around that the Samsung Galaxy Core will run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean right out of the box. It looks set to arrive in Russia and China sometime in the middle of next month onwards, where it ought to retail for approximately €320 a pop.
