A New Zealand woman was left speechless by making a simple mistake while sifting through her medicine cabinet.

A 64-year-old woman made the unfortunate mistake of thinking a container of super glue was medicated cream. Wiithin minutes she couldn’t open her mouth, the Otago Daily Times reports.

The patient, who sought anonymity from the media, was fumbling in the dark for a balm to apply to a cold sore late Thursday night, the Telegraph reported.

Car dealers are upset with a car manufacturer willing to do whatever it takes to sell cars. Their problem? The cars don’t go through local dealerships, which in some states is against the law.

That company, a certain electric vehicle manufacturer by the name of Tesla, isn’t without allies, and has been known to put up a fight.

A White House petition, voicing support for Tesla’s direct-to-consumer sales, seeks an end to what it says are “state legislators … trying to unfairly protect automobile dealers in their states from competition.”

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indiana Pacers may not have gotten the new shooting guard everyone expected in Thursday night’s NBA draft.

Instead, they found someone who fits their system and might cause even more headaches for the league’s top offenses.

The Pacers pulled one of the bigger first-round surprises Thursday night by selecting 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward Solomon Hill of Arizona with the 23rd pick overall — a guy few draft analysts expected to go that high.

Finding Work After College More Important Than Graduating, Americans Say In Gallup Poll

In finding the right college, Americans care less about whether its students are likely to graduate, and more about whether the ones that do land a solid job, a Gallup poll released Friday finds.

Forty-one percent identified the percentage of graduates able to obtain a good job as the most important factor in choosing a college, with the percentage increasing among respondents who have higher monthly incomes.

The price of the college, 37 percent said, was the most important, and just 16 percent selected the percentage of students who graduate from the college or university. Both of those choices tended to be more vital to lower income respondents in the poll.

On “Graceland,” Mike (Aaron Tveit) infiltrated a drug cartel and was continually forced to prove himself. Bello’s (Gbenga Akinnagbe) crew wanted to make sure he wasn’t an undercover cop, but Mike was found out by one of the dealers, Eddie (Sheaun McKinney).

“Are you working with the FBI?” Bello asked. “No,” Mike said, and Eddie interjected, “I have been with you from the beginning! He is nobody he is no one.”

“This is going to end one of two ways,” Bello said, holding a gun to Mike’s head.

Boys & Girls Club High School Diploma Program: Nonprofit Starts Alternative Way To Help Students Graduate (VIDEO)

In attempt to reduce high school dropout rates, one non-profit organization is promoting an alternative way for students to receive their diplomas.

According to CBS Los Angeles, Boys & Girls Clubs in California have partnered with nearby Vista Real Charter High School to give graduating seniors a less traditional learning option. Teens can now take classes at Boys & Girls Club teen centers which will count toward their graduation requirements.

“Every student is different, and they learn differently,” Vista Real principal Corrine Manley told CBS News. “We’re giving them a safe place, relationships with adults that are safe, and we work with the kids one-on-one.”
