‘Breaking Amish: Brave New World’: Rebecca Rejected For Job Because Of Show (VIDEO)
Posted in: Today's ChiliBeing a part of the first breakout season of “Breaking Amish” came back to haunt Rebecca on the latest episode of the spin-off series “Breaking Amish: Brave New World.” She was asking about getting a job at a restaurant when she was emphatically told, “No.”
“You coming in here wanting to work — I think a lot of our employees would be disgusted about it because we love the Amish,” she was told by a waitress. “We have a lot of Amish people that come in here.”
Abe, who was with Rebecca, asked the waitress if she’d grown up Amish. When she said that she hadn’t, Abe countered, with ,”Then don’t tell me how the Amish live their life.”
Marissa Powell, Miss Utah USA, Fumbles Pageant Question On Income Inequality (VIDEO)
Posted in: Today's ChiliYou’re dressed to the nines. You’re vying to become an icon of beauty and poise. The cameras are rolling and millions of people are waiting to hear your answer to this question about income inequality:
“A recent report shows that in 40 percent of American families with children, women are the primary earners yet they continue to earn less than men. What does this say about society?”

Marissa Powell, 21-years old, was powering her way through the competition when she hit a major roadblock. She was asked about how women are continuing to earn less than men in America, and what she thinks that means for our society.
“How to create jobs right now, that is the biggest problem right now, and I think especially the men are seen as leaders of this and so we need to figure out how to create education better so we can solve this problem,” Powell answered.

Miami Heat Can Blame Ends Of Quarters For NBA Finals Game 5 Loss (VIDEO/PHOTOS)
Posted in: Today's ChiliSAN ANTONIO (AP) — Until Tuesday night, the Miami Heat will be lamenting 8 bad minutes.
Eight very bad minutes, actually.
So bad that they took away any realistic chance of winning Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night. So bad that they put the reigning champions on the brink of elimination. So bad that they ensured the Heat season can only be saved by winning two games in Miami, or else they will face the indignity of watching an opponent celebrate a title on their floor for the second time in three years.
