BlackBerry 10 users haven’t had much control over their Facebook photo uploads — a big problem when they’re trying to organize their pictures later on. Thankfully, they can be a little more restrained as of the Facebook 10.2 update. The revision lets socialites both create albums on-device and upload directly to particular albums. After the fact, they can tag existing shots and toggle just which images they see. If you’re the sort whose Q10 or Z10 doubles as a primary camera, you’ll want to grab the update at the source link.

The Remember Ring is just a concept at this point.

A forgotten anniversary can add a lot of friction to a relationship. Apparently, setting a calendar alert is just too much effort for some people. Those same people might need a Remember Ring, a concept ring from Alaska Jewelry that heats up as an anniversary approaches.
The ring is designed to give a 24-hour heads-up notice about the impending anniversary. It does this by heating up to 120 degrees, enough to be noticeable, but not enough to make you scream.
So as not to turn your finger into a rotisserie, the ring only goes off for 10 seconds at a time, but it goes off every hour until your anniversary starts. According to Alaska Jewelry, the ring is powered by a micro thermopile that converts the heat from your hand into electricity. You give the company your anniversary date, and it will be programmed into the ring.

Puerto Rican Gov. Alejandro García Padilla asked the Obama administration Monday to free an independence fighter who has been jailed for the last 32 years, Puerto Rican daily El Nuevo Día reports.
The governor’s request comes on the heels of a major protest against the continued imprisonment of 70-year-old Oscar López Rivera, who was convicted of “seditious conspiracy” in 1981 and slapped with a 55-year jail sentence.
García Padilla, who traveled to New York to attend the annual Puerto Rican Day Parade on Sunday and continued to Washington on Monday, raised the issue with Eric Holder during a meeting to discuss strategies to fight organized crime.

‘The Sopranos’ Finale Anniversary: Six Years Later, Fans Are Still Talking About Cut To Black (TWEETS)
Posted in: Today's ChiliSix years ago, on June 10, 2007, “The Sopranos” ended its six-season run on HBO. Though it remains the cable network’s most-watched show ever to this day, fans are still not happy about that controversial finale.
“The Sopranos” was never afraid to kill off main characters — for a show about the inner-workings of the mob in New Jersey, they couldn’t really avoid it — but in the end, instead of sealing the fates of Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), his wife Carmela (Edie Falco) and their kids Meadow (Jamie-Lynn Sigler) and AJ (Robert Iler), the show just cut to black.
