Ines Di Santo, Bridal Designer, Introduces LUXE Collection (PHOTOS)

Ines Di Santo is known for her stunning trumpet and mermaid-style couture gowns, and while every fashion-forward bride would probably love to strut down the aisle in one of them, they can retail for more than $10,000 — a pretty penny for even the biggest wedding budget.

That’s why we were thrilled to learn that the beloved couturier is releasing a new line, LUXE by Ines Di Santo, featuring gowns priced between $2,400 and $5,500 (still a pretty penny but closer to the average bride’s dress budget).

Click through the slideshow below to see the collection, then head to your nearest bridal salon to try one on in July.

‘Devious Maids’ Criticism: Lifetime Series Continues To Draw Cultural Backlash For Latina Stereotypes (VIDEO)

“Devious Maids” may have made history with its all Latina cast on Sunday, but critics refuse to budge insisting that the show’s portrayal of Hispanic women perpetuates stereotypes and is “disappointing.”

On Wednesday, critics and supporters of the Lifetime series joined host Marc Hill on HuffPost Live to discuss whether “Devious Maids” cements stereotypes of Latinas in the United States or broadens the cultural diversity of Primetime television.

With five Latina stars comprising the main cast –Edy Ganem, Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Judy Reyes and Roselyn Sánchez — the show has been praised by some within the Hispanic community for its cultural breakthrough. Yet the series, created by Marc Cherry (“Desperate Housewives”) and Executive Produced by actress Eva Longoria, received a slew of backlash leading up to its official June 23 premiere.

Wendy Davis Receives Praise In Thank You Letter Signed By 31 Democratic Senators

Texas state Sen. Wendy Davis (D) drew nationwide attention on Tuesday for her 12-hour filibuster against a restrictive, GOP-backed anti-abortion bill. Even senators in Washington, D.C. tuned in, they said Wednesday in a letter to Davis from Sens. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), Patty Murray (D-Wash.) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) on behalf of 26 of their Democratic colleagues.

“Thank you for your courage and determination in defeating S.B. 5, a bill that would have severely limited women’s reproductive choices in Texas,” the letter read. “Your steadfastness sets an example that one person’s voice and commitment can make a difference. As Senators, we were awestruck as we watched you stand on the Senate floor of the Texas Legislature for hours in the face of ideologically based attempts to pass legislation that would threaten women’s health. Thanks to your dedication, Texas and the rest of the country will rethink efforts to enact similar laws. We are proud to call you an ally and a friend.”

Here’s the list of other senators whose names were attached to the letter:

2013 NBA Draft Busts And Steals: Beware Of Nerlens Noel

The NBA Draft is almost here and we still don’t know for sure who the top overall pick will be.

Kentucky’s Nerlens Noel is my prediction, but the fact that there is no clear No. 1 choice is news by itself. Yet while this particular draft may lack star power, it does offer value, especially in the middle-to-late first round where a number of potential sleepers will be.

And, as always, we cannot forget about the busts as well. Let’s take a look.

Rev. Jesse Jackson: Paula Deen Can Be ‘Redeemed’

CHICAGO — Civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson says he’s agreed to help celebrity chef Paula Deen try to make amends for her past use of a racial slur, saying she shouldn’t become a “sacrificial lamb” over the issue of racial intolerance.

HTC posts kernel source code for One Google Play edition

Officially, the HTC One Google Play edition exists for tinkering with an unfettered Android experience. Owners need the code to do that, of course — and HTC has quickly followed up by posting the kernel source code for its Sense-free phone. The release helps developers optimize their apps for the hardware, modify its vanilla Android 4.2 build and produce custom firmware. If you have one of those goals in mind, the kernel source is ready to download at HTC’s developer portal.
