Shunning Plus-Size Shoppers Is Key To Lululemon’s Strategy, Insiders Say

Back when she still worked at a Lululemon Athletica store in downtown Philadelphia, Elizabeth Licorish was struck by the contrasting ways the company showcased different sizes of its wildly popular yoga pants.

Most of the merchandise was presented out on the floor, hung on the walls, or folded neatly in cabinets for all the world to see. But the largest sizes — the 10s and the 12s — were relegated to a separate area at the back of the store, left clumped and unfolded under a table.

These larger offerings were rarely restocked, said Licorish, who worked at Lululemon for four months in 2011. The only styles available in those sizes were old designs whose fashion moment had long since passed.

Sarah Michelle Gellar Does Not Want Freddie Prinze Jr. And David Boreanaz To Kiss

Sarah Michelle Gellar’s husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., will appear on “Bones” opposite her former “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” love interest David Boreanaz and Gellar has high hopes for the guest spot.

“As long as they don’t make out I think it’ll be fun,” Gellar told TVLine.

Gellar, who co-stars in the upcoming CBS fall comedy “The Crazy Ones” opposite Robin Williams, said the guest spot basically happened after the three of them hung out poolside. Boreanaz floated the idea and Prinze agreed.

Home Renovations Make 12 Percent of Couples Consider Divorce, According To Houzz Survey

Although it’s exciting to start a home renovation, there are, of course, some drawbacks. Remodeling projects can go over budget, get behind schedule and, according to design and home improvement website Houzz, wreak havoc on relationships.

More than half of the respondents from a survey distributed by the site reported that renovating was a particularly frustrating and stressful time in their marriages. And a surprising 12 percent even admitted that their projects led them to consider a separation or divorce. Yikes! But what are couples fighting over?

One third attested their conflicts to battling styles, according to the survey. Marriage counselor Julie Schwartz Gottman discussed the topic of disagreeing over design with The Wall Street Journal and said “if somebody doesn’t feel understood, it can sit there festering and trickle out into the rest of the marriage.”

Holy Smoke! Take The Catholic Church Gay Art Tour

The Pope has uttered some common sense words about homosexuality – and about time, too. While stopping well short of a full recognition of gay rights, his declaration that he does not “judge” is at least the start of a better approach by the Catholic church.

If Pope Francis wants to think more about this issue, he could do worse than take a tour of churches and galleries in Rome and the Vatican where, for centuries, gay artists have created the glories of the church.
