Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott (R) has a theory as to how Obamacare was able become law, and it places a lot of responsibility on voting at the polls.
Speaking at the Texas Tribune Festival on Saturday, Abbott pointed specifically to the 2008 election of Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.), who won by a few hundred votes. According to the Houston Chronicle, Abbott argued that if it wasn’t for elections like this, the Affordable Care Act would have seen a different fate.
“Without voter fraud, Obamacare would not exist,” Abbott said.
