Brené Brown: ‘There Are No Prerequisites For Worthiness’ (VIDEO)

If you’ve ever felt unworthy — because of your weight, your job, your relationship or any other fill-in-the-blank reason — shame and vulnerability researcher Dr. Brené Brown has a message she wants you to hear loud and clear: There are no prerequisites for worthiness.

“Most of us think, ‘I’m pretty worthy of love and belonging — but I’d be super worthy of love and belonging if I could lose 15 pounds,'” Brown says in the above clip from “Oprah’s Lifeclass.” “‘[Or] I made partner. Or my wife doesn’t leave. Or I stay sober’ –- or whatever our thing is.”

In reality, none of that matters. “Worthiness is an as-is, here and now proposition,” she says. “And to me, that’s the definition of wholeheartedness. Wholeheartedness is about engaging with the world from a place of worthiness.”

Dani Shapiro: ‘Recognize The Possibility Of The Divine In Any Given Moment’ (VIDEO)

What if living fully in the present meant that even the most mundane events could become sacred? Dani Shapiro, author of the best-selling book Devotion, says that by being constantly aware, we can find the divine in the ordinary.

“How do you begin to decipher the sacred in the ordinary, because that’s really what you ended up doing in this book,” Oprah says to Shapiro in the above clip from “Super Soul Sunday.”

“The idea that I’m driving in a car with my son in the back seat and it’s a beautiful fall day and the leaves are turning, and it’s just the two of us in the car and we’re talking — that can be a sacred moment,” Shaprio says.

Lori Loughlin Responds To John Stamos’ ‘One That Got Away,’ Says She Will ‘Always Love’ Him

When John Stamos revealed on HuffPost Live back in June that he and Lori Loughlin had actually dated years ago and that she might be “the one that got away,” hearts everywhere exploded. Last Week, E! News caught up with Loughlin at the opening of the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills to get her response, and though diplomatic, it doesn’t disappoint.

“Oh my goodness. Well, we’ll never know, right? I will always love John, always,” Loughlin said. The 49-year-old actress is nowadays married to fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli with whom she has two daughters, notes the Los Angeles Times.

Both Loughlin and Stamos, who played Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse on “Full House,” have addressed the issue of timing in their separate HuffPost Lives interviews. They had apparently gone on a couple dates when they were 18 or 19, per Stamos, but then Loughlin got married and by the time that relationship ended, Stamos had already gotten together with his now ex-wife Rebecca Romijn.

Russ Feingold Group Jumps Into Fight To Defeat Scott Walker

WASHINGTON — Former Sen. Russ Feingold’s (R-Wis.) advocacy group Progressives United jumped into the Wisconsin gubernatorial race on Tuesday, endorsing Democrat Mary Burke despite apprehension about her candidacy from some liberals.

Progressives United polled its Wisconsin members last week about whether to back Burke, a member of the Madison school board. After hearing from more than 3,000 of its members, the group decided to endorse her.

“Wisconsin members of Progressives United want to support Mary Burke for governor now and begin the work to beat Scott Walker in 2014,” wrote Progressives United Executive Director Cole Leystra in an email to members. “By a 75.2%-24.8% margin, thousands of progressives voted to start organizing right away, so Burke can build a grassroots organization early.”
