Khloe Kardashian Opens Up About Lamar Odom Struggles On ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ (VIDEO)

After months of speculation in the media about the marital status of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” finally addressed the issue. While they didn’t explicitly go into what is going on with the couple, nor did they take up Lamar’s alleged drug problem, the show did feature a series of phone calls between the couple that suggested the NBA star was struggling through something.

“There’s a lot of emotional issues I think Lamar has,” Khloe told the cameras. “There’s only so much anybody can take.”

While the show didn’t delve too deeply into Lamar’s side of things, Khloe was on-hand to help viewers understand how she was trying to reach him. “Lamar, he is a very depressed person, which is sad,” she said. “It’s really scary when someone’s in such a deep low, and you know they’re kind of relying on you to get them out and you’re trying, and you’re trying, and you’re trying, and nothing’s really working.”

Reduce, Reuse And Ride: Bejiing Subway Accepts Recyclables As Payment

Photo: flickr creative commons user Margaret NapierSociety’s focus on reducing environmental impact is improving, and it is an even greater priority when the people engaging in environmental programs get something out of the deal. In order to encourage commuters to reduce their environmental impact, Bejing has started to accept an unusual form of currency in exchange for their transportation services. The Bejiing Subway System is introducing a program that has been coined Recycle-to-Ride (pun intended) to encourage citizens to reduce their waste, or at least what they do with it when they produce it. Because, the subway system, which is used extensively by commuters in Bejiing, accepts plastic bottles and other recyclables in exchange for subway tokens.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Region-Lock Bypassed

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Region Lock BypassedA couple of weeks ago, it was discovered that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 could be region-locked which is bad news for those who travel often and who were planning on purchasing the device from the grey market. Samsung has since responded to the region-locking by claiming that this applied to first-time activations only, although admittedly it still is something of a restriction we’re sure many Galaxy Note 3 owners would not like to have. In any case as expected, a method to bypass the region-lock has since been released by developer Chainfire, who is well-known in the Android developer community for his efforts such as triangle-away, CF-Auto-Root, SuperSU, Mobile Odin and more.

His latest released, called RegionLock Away, basically allows users to bypass the region-lock on their Galaxy Note 3 devices, allowing them to do as they wish with their device and use any SIM card that they want. However the downside to this is that it requires the user to root their phone in order to do so. What this means is that for the not-so tech savvy user, this could be a difficult or complicated task to accomplish, but for the more tech savvy or for those with experience rooting phones, we guess this is one way you could go about doing it. The RegionLock Away tool can be downloaded via Playboard for $2.79 so hit up the app store for the download and additional details!

HTC One Max With Verizon Branding Spotted

HTC One Max With Verizon Branding SpottedWe have been hearing rumors that the upcoming HTC One Max will see a launch on both AT&T and Sprint, but it turns out that Verizon might be getting their hands on the device as well, thanks to a recently leaked photo which shows off the Verizon branding on the alleged device. According to the reports, the images were snapped by a Verizon sales rep who apparently was able to “confirm” that the handset would sport a removable rear panel as well as an integrated fingerprint scanner. In any case the HTC One Max is due for an announce in the coming week, with some rumors suggesting a 15th of October launch, with other rumors pointing at the 17th of October.

As far as the specs are concerned, nothing is official yet, but word on the street has it that it will sport a massive 5.9” display, giving the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 a run for its money. Oddly enough HTC has decided to equip the handset with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset instead of the more powerful Snapdragon 800. Some are speculating that this is a way for HTC to keep costs down, although we’re sure that many will be disappointed. Granted the Snapdragon 600 is not exactly a slouch, but we’re sure there are users out there who would have preferred the handset to be on par with the competition. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but check back with us next week for the details!
