Netflix is no stranger to making original TV anymore, but it seems it has bigger plans than that: it’s floating the idea that it’ll foot the bill for a “big” movie, which would appear in theaters and on Netflix at the same time.
Dax Shepard Tells Kimmel His ‘World’s Worst Wedding’ To Kristen Bell Cost $142 (VIDEO)
Posted in: Today's ChiliDax Shepard certainly didn’t give Kristen Bell a lavish Hollywood wedding. The “Parenthood” star talked about his recent nuptials during his visit to “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” The couple wed on October 17 at the Beverly Hills County Clerk’s office after six years together. You heard that right. At the county clerk’s office!
They’d been engaged for three years — having delayed their wedding until after the Supreme Court struck down the Defense of Marriage Act. Then, as Shepard proudly proclaimed, they had a ceremony that cost them $142 — and that included gas.
“Friends of ours came to the courthouse, and it was just Kristen and I at this lonely courthouse, so they brought us this cake afterwards,” he said. “‘The World’s Worst Wedding.’ How many people can say they threw ‘The World’s Worst Wedding?’”

Leave it to Bonnie to suggest the “drive by” to Christy on “Mom.” Trying to do something different, Christy decided to abstain from having immediate sex with her latest beau, Adam (Justin Long). But her mother warned her that there is one inherent risk in this kind of delayed satisfaction. What if she falls for the guy only to find out later that he’s not packing much … where it counts?
So she suggested a “drive by.” “Cruise by the general vicinity,” Bonnie told Christy. “Send your knee on a fact-finding mission.”
Later, when Christy and Adam got caught in the rain while on a hike and sought refuge in an empty cabin, Christy took her mother’s advice. Thanks to an awkward camera angle, it looked like Adam had an obscene amount to work with for a moment. But while Christy was suitably satisfied with the results of her “fact-finding mission,” she failed completely in the stealth department.

Tiananmen Square Incident: China Suspects Deadly Crash Was Suicide Attack, Sources Say
Posted in: Today's ChiliBEIJING, Oct 29 (Reuters) – The Chinese government suspects that Monday’s incident in which a vehicle plowed into pedestrians in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square, killing five including the three people in the vehicle, was a suicide attack, sources told Reuters.
At least 38 people were injured in the incident, but there has been no official word whether it was an accident or an attack.
“It looks like a premeditated suicide attack,” a source with direct knowledge of the matter told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity to avoid repercussions for talking to the foreign media.
While police are still investigating and have yet to determine the identities of the three people in the vehicle, according to the sources, Beijing police said late on Monday they were looking for two suspects from the restive far western region of Xinjiang in connection with a “major incident”. ‘Castle’: Alexis Accepts Castle’s Relationship, So Why Can’t He Accept Hers? (VIDEO)
Posted in: Today's ChiliThe relationship between Castle and his daughter, Alexis, continued to be strained on the latest episode of “Castle.” She’s moved out of his place and in with her boyfriend, Pi, which isn’t sitting well with her father at all. On the other side of that, Alexis found out about Castle’s engagement secondhand, which left her feeling more than a little slighted.
“I don’t know if it’s a good idea, or if she’s really the one,” she said of the engagement. “But you what? I accept it. You know why? Because she makes you happy. The same way Pi makes me happy. All I want is the same thing I’m giving you: acceptance.”
Castle told her he accepted Pi, but she knew he was lying. And so for now, she remains mad at him and the two remain at odds. Buddy TV’s Morgan Glennon thinks this is a good move for the show. “While [Castle and Alexis] used to be practically attached at the hip, now they have to navigate around the space that has grown between them,” she wrote. “The idea of a rift forming between the two is an interesting concept.” Zap2It’s Laurel Brown hopes Alexis comes around soon, as she agrees with Castle that Pi is no good for her — and Alexis being a brat about it is no good for the show.
