Intel Powered Nexus 8 Could Arrive In 2014The Nexus family of devices from Google has been pretty solid offerings in the past, and for sure Google is not going to quit the hardware market either. We now have heard whispers of an Intel-powered Nexus 8 that might arrive sometime later this year, although you can more or less classify this under the “rumors” section for now. DigiTimes are the ones behind this particular snippet, where according to one of their sources, which so happens to be part of the supply chain, Google could very well drop the 7” tablet that they have marketed in the past in favor of a new Nexus 8 for this year.

    Verizon Share Everything Plans AnnouncedIt was just yesterday when we mentioned how Verizon’s shared data plans would be on the receiving end of a new tier, and so here we are with the clock going past midnight, and Verizon has lifted the veil on their new Share Everything plans. Basically, Verizon intends to roll out a $20 shared data plan that offers just 250MB of data, where it will see a savings of approximately $20 off the base rate. In a nutshell, it would enable a solitary smartphone owner to fork out as little as $60 monthly for the entire full service, while a customer with a basic phone would fork out $50 per month.

    Syrian Electronic Army Hacks Microsoft’s Office BlogMicrosoft seems to be on the receiving end of the wrath of the Syrian Electronic Army recently, where their news Twitter accounts fell victim to. Apart from that, Microsoft’s Office Blog has been caught out by the Syrian Electronic Army (SEA) – and although the blog was defaced, it was quickly recovered by Microsoft. The screenshot above pointed to SEA putting out a bunch of posts that depicted how they have gained access to the blog, although many would not claim it to be a hack.
