hadoro-iphone5sHave you heard of Hadoro before? If you have not, you might want to start checking them out – they happen to have their headquarters planted at the heart of the French jewelry industry in Paris. Hadoro’s team of craftsmen have managed to come up with a unique iPhone that has been produced using 125 grams of massive 18K gold. It has been specially designed and printed with 3D technology, and each of the final product is different from another since they are all finished by hand, although you can expect the same standard of excellence for all of them. In fact, Hadoro’s artisans claim to have invested over 200 hours of brushing, polishing and refining to the smallest details.

This would mean the iPhone 5s will now be a luxury object without sacrificing on its cutting edge technology, now how about that for some much needed bling in your inventory? It is a no-brainer then that this is a limited edition handset, where only 50 of these puppies will be produced. You will be able to pick up Hadoro’s massive gold iPhone 5s in yellow or red gold, with the starting asking price of 55,000 Euros. The first specimens, however, will be available in the Collette Store that is located in Paris, France.

Samsung To Launch 60 Retail Stores Across Europe

Samsung-shop-Selfridges-Dalziel-and-Pow-LondonIf there is one advantage that Apple has over the competition, it would be how ubiquitous their retail stores are. It is everywhere in almost every major city around the world, and in some cases there are even a few stores within a single city. For countries where Apple does not officially operate in, they have authorized resellers who basically emulate Apple’s own retail stores in their products, offerings, and services. Well now it looks like Samsung might be interested in giving Apple a run for their money by partnering up with Carphone Warehouse which will see Samsung open up 60 retail stores across Europe.

As it stands, Samsung and Carphone Warehouse have three retail outlets in Spain and presumably they have done well enough to warrant opening another 60 across Europe. The stores are expected to carry Samsung’s range of smartphones, tablets, laptops, and wearables, such as the Samsung Galaxy Gear. According to Carphone Warehouse’s CEO, Andrew Harrison, “We are delighted to have been chosen as Samsung’s preferred European partner for their store rollout. Our Connected World Services business will combine Carphone Warehouse’s retailing expertise and systems with one of the world’s biggest brands and will help us make even more lives better through connected technology.” It remains to see if Samsung’s series of stores will have the same amount of success as Apple’s, but without a doubt Samsung will have their presence felt at the very least.

AT&T Entices New And Existing Customers With Free Credit

att-outside-logo-signIn the past we have seen how AT&T has attempted to lure customers away from competing carriers, such as T-Mobile, by offering them free credit as well as the ability to trade-in their smartphone for credit as well. Last we heard, AT&T was willing to offer T-Mobile customers up to $450 in credit but now according to a new announcement by the carrier, it seems that they have their eyes set on pretty much the entire carrier industry and have revealed a new plan to lure customers away and onto their network. Based on the new plan, AT&T is expected to offer all new and existing customers $100 in credit on their bill for every new line that they open.

This offer will extend to smartphones, tablets, feature phones, and wireless home phone lines that are bundled with AT&T’s 4G LTE service. Unfortunately this is not a permanent offer as AT&T will be putting an end to this deal come 31st of March. Both AT&T and T-Mobile are in a war right now for customers, with T-Mobile being the more aggressive of the two, offering up to $650 to make customers switch over, where the $650 will cover the cost of you possibly buying your way out of a contract from a different carrier. We suppose at the end of the day the customers are the ones who win, so we can’t really complain, right?
