LG F90 (LG Volt) Set To Arrive On Sprint

LG F90 (LG Volt) Set To Arrive On SprintEarlier at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this week, we saw the unveiling of two brand new Android-powered phones that will occupy the mid-range category, where the two of them will sport LTE 4G connectivity. Known as the LG F70 and the LG F90, the latter was shown off as a Sprint model, where it carried a far more interesting name of Volt compared to the model number alone. Just what kind of hardware specifications does the LG F90 aka Volt bring to the table? We are looking at a 4.7” qHD display, an 8-megapixel shooter at the back, a Snapdragon 400 processor, NFC support, a removable 3,000 mAh battery, tri-band LTE (Sprint Spark,) IR remote control, and a memory card slot for expansion purposes.

HTC Babel A 10” Concept Tablet

HTC Babel A 10” Concept TabletThe Tower of Babel has proven to be the place where humanity dispersed around the known world back then, each of them being confused because their languages were all mixed up, at least according to Biblical sources. Hopefully there will be no confusion at all with the HTC Babel, which is a conceptual tablet that comes in a 10” form factor. This particular HTC Babel concept hails from the brain of Facebook user Phone Designer, who decided to take HTC’s design aesthetics and come up with a rendering of a very thin and sleek-looking tablet which will be able to dual boot into either Windows or Android.

Robot Teaches One How To Pray

Robot Teaches One How To PrayMonkey see, monkey do – or so the saying goes, but when it comes to something as serious as prayer, an Iranian teacher figured out it would be cool if he could come up with a robot that actually teaches the Islamic way of praying. What you see above happens to be a class that is full of Iranian students who are intently watching a robot demonstrate prayer. The 27 year old teacher, Akbar Rezaie, did attend private robotics classes and figured out how to develop and assemble customized humanoid robots. Rezaie teaches the Koran to boys and girls at Alborz elementary school in Varamin, a town that remains 35 kilometers (20 miles) southeast of Tehran.

Real life Gambit blows things up by throwing playing cards

Real life Gambit blows things up by throwing playing cards

Growing up, I never wanted Cyclops’ optic blast or Wolverine’s adamantium claws or Magneto’s power over magnetic fields, I wanted to throw cards like Gambit. I don’t know if that makes me an unimaginative little kid who only dreamt about realistic powers but I do know I spent many summer days throwing cards at everything. Sadly, I never grew up to be like Gambit. This guy, comedian Javier Jarquin, did though. Watch him throw playing cards with incredible accuracy and enough strength to break glass.

iPhone 6 To Have Sapphire Coating, Skips May Release (Rumor)

iPhone 6 To Have Sapphire Coating, Skips May Release (Rumor)It does seem as though both Apple and Gorilla Glass will be kissing each other goodbye when the iPhone 6 hits the market. Apparently, Apple will be making the jump to a sapphire screen-coating for their next generation iPhone, and just in case you were wondering, sapphire coating has long been a feature in high-end watches for quite some time already because of its high-durability and scratch-resistance capabilities. Right now, sapphire coating on an iPhone is limited to its camera lenses as well as the iPhone 5s’ fingerprint sensor. It has been rumored as well that the upcoming iWatch device will also feature sapphire coating.

Skype For Windows Phone Requires Microsoft Account

Skype For Windows Phone Requires Microsoft AccountMicrosoft has picked up Skype slightly more than two and a half years ago for quite a hefty sum, but it does seem as though they have not been the fastest off the blocks to take over the app. While Skype was integrated into both the Windows and Windows Phone platforms in a relatively speedy manner, the software giant has not been that fast in pushing it out to all Microsoft account options. Again, the all new Skype update for Windows Phone has done away with your previous Skype login. Meaning, you will now be required to have a Microsoft account in order to login.
