Back in the middle of 2013, LG unveiled the LG Optimus Zone which was an entry-level handset. The design of the phone featured some pretty sharp angles but thanks to a recent leak by the ever-reliable @evleaks, we now know that LG has a new handset in the works called the LG Optimus Zone 2, which presumably is the follow up to last year’s handset.
Based on the leaked image, assuming it’s real, features a more curved design which seems to be in line with LG’s design language as of late. It also sports a Verizon logo on the top left corner of the device, indicating that the phone will most likely arrive on Verizon’s network in the near future. (more…)

Back in 2013, BlackBerry’s SVP of Software, Sebastien Marineau-Mes, was offered a job at Apple and decided to formally vacate his role in December and tendered his resignation. It seemed like standard procedure but apparently BlackBerry wasn’t too pleased about it.
