The Microsoft/Nokia deal is still in the process of being approved by regulatory boards and governments around the world, which is unsurprising given how big both companies are and how their business spans across multiple countries.

So far for the most part, most countries have given the deal their blessing, including China who had initially expressed their reservations regarding patents and licensing fees. Earlier this year, an LG patent was spotted which seemed to be some kind of smartwatch/stylus combo rolled into a single device. The idea alone is pretty unique but what made it even more interesting was the idea that it could “slapped” onto the wrist, much like those slap bands from back in the 1990s that kids used to play with.

If you grew up in the 90s chances are you might remember those slap bracelets. In any case according to the folks at Phandroid, their sources have told them that this slap bracelet-styled stylus is actually being made a reality, except that instead of it being a smartwatch/stylus combo, they will simply be a stylus that has the ability to curl up (pictured above). Costco currently has the Dell 2405FPW 24″ Monitor For $879.99 and while this may not be the best deal around, it is so great because of Costco’s return policy:

If you have receipt and product (even if it’s damaged, dead pixels, leaking, etc) you can return it in 20 years (but realistically try to keep it to no more than 5)

I have no way to confirm this policy because I have never used it before but someone mentioned this on SlickDeals. I am, however, a current owner of this 24″ monitor and it would be hard not to have it now. I highly recommend it to anyone even considering it. This gives you the most screen space for your buck, where the Dell 30″ monitor just gives you the most screen space!
