It does seem as though the folks over at HTC are looking at a ‘x16’ naming convention for some of their smartphones under the Desire range. For instance, we have heard about how many pre-orders that the HTC Desire 816 had already received in China, not to mention having an image of the octa-core HTC Desire 616 revealed, and now here we are with the mid-range HTC Desire 316 which had already appeared on the HTC China website.

Instead of coming up with idiotic ideas, perhaps all the dumb companies trying to push their stupid April Fools’ Day "jokes" down our throats should start making some actually awesome pranks. Like this one, played on young waitress Chelsea Roff, who basically got her shift turned into the best day of her life.

Now folks, this is no April Fool’s joke. Apple has announced that they will be making TD-LTE capable models of the iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina display to the market in China from today onward. These “new” (relatively speaking, considering how most of the rest of the world have had them for some time already) iPad models would be able to offer customers the option to hook up to today’s most advanced cellular data networks at speeds that do not require much waiting time at all.

It might not be April Fool’s yet over here in the US, but for many other parts of the world, they are well into April 1st, and I am quite sure that there is a fair number of people who have already been pranked. Samsung too, does not want to miss out on the April Fool’s bandwagon, and have introduced Samsung Fingers, which happens to be the first all-over-hand wearable device that will boast of a flexible Super Emo-LED that will target the technology-sensitive consumer.

Earlier this morning, we did bring you word on Google ushering in April Fool’s Day by giving you a chance to catch Pokemon. Well, it seems that there is yet another April Fool’s prank from Google that will involve the Google Shelfie, which is undoubtedly a wordplay on the “SHareable sELFIE”, if you will.
