HAV 304 Airlander Is World’s Largest Aircraft

The obsession with the “world’s largest” of a particular thing continues, and this time around, it would be the HAV 304 Airlander that will carry the distinction of being the largest aircraft in the world. I guess even the Airbus A380 does not have a shoutout at all in this hat. The huge size of the HAV 304 Airlander does not make it an automatic enemy of Greenpeace, as it has been touted to be green and efficient. After all, it is a hybrid mode of transportation, is it not? The promotional video that you can see above will certainly give you a sense of foreboding as the HAV 304 Airlander flies over the plains, blotting out the sun in the process. In fact, it is touted to be able to fly for up to three weeks, measure a whopping 300 feet in length and does not need any kind of airport for it to take off. In comparison, the Airbus A380 measures 238.6 feet in length.

Tesla Model E Could Have 200 Mile Range

Is there such a thing as an affordable Tesla model? Well, company founder and CEO Elon Musk did share some information on what the upcoming Tesla Model E would be able to offer to the masses, where it has been deemed to be “affordable” (which I am sure is relative to the Tesla Model S) for everyone. Apparently, there were enough hints that went around which suggested the possibility of the Tesla Model E sporting double the range as well as battery capacity of current affordable electric vehicles. According to Elon Musk himself, the Model E will be approximately 20% smaller compared to the Model S, where it is also fully capable of attaining a similar 200 mile range on a single charge.

    Japan Joins Wearable Computer Brigade

The world of wearable computing has certainly moved ahead by leaps and bounds, including the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Gear, and folks over in Japan do look as though they are also interested in giving this particular device a go to boot. Hiroshima City University staff member Kazuhiro Taniguchi has come up with a new wearable computer prototype that brings back memories of the personal computer that is worn over the ear by Joaquin Phoenix’s character in Her, which was a recent motion picture. This particularly compact PC’s interface will make use of infrared waves so that it can recognize whenever the computer-wearer opens or closes his or her mouth. As these movements occur, there will be corresponding command signals which will be sent to the miniature mechanism.

Chalice Symphony Makes Music Using Stella Artois Glasses

Chalice Symphony Makes Music Using Stella Artois GlassesI am quite sure that many of us grew up hearing about the fact that you could make a glass “sing” simply by running your finger along the wet edge of a glass. Inventor Andy Cavatorta has stumbled upon this particularly brilliant idea that is known as the Chalice Symphony, which happens to be a quartet of devices that will rely on Stella Artois’ signature drinking glasses which will be able to produce some unique sounding audio. Each of the “instruments” will be laden with plenty of technology, where the Star Harp is able to make use of robotics to play itself, while the Pyrophone would rely on software-controlled torches which will result in flute-like notes. As for the Hive, that happens to be a keyboard-driven cluster of bells while the Violina is a spinning string-like instrument that will rely on complex machinery.

Rumor: Titanfall To Sport 15 Maps And 5 ModesTitanfall is definitely not too far away from its March 11 release, but do we know all there is to it where the game is involved? Good thing that there is this particular channel known as the Internet, where it offers a new rumor concerning the kind of maps that the game will come with in addition to tiny “tidbits” that you might be interested in. Inappropriate Use Of Twitch Could Result In Ban

Inappropriate Use Of Twitch Could Result In BanYou know the saying – with great power comes great responsibility. I know it sounds particularly corny, hailing from a comic book, but there is truth in it after all. Remember Twitch? Twitch is a gameplay streaming service that will be making its way to the Xbox One this coming March 11th, but for those who want to give it a go, do bear in mind that Xbox One mods can wield their authority and power to ban players permanently who abuse the use of Twitch. In particular, Microsoft intends to lay the smack down on XXX-box streams.
