Yoshi Themed Nintendo 3DS Listed By North American Retailers

Yoshi Themed Nintendo 3DS Listed By North American RetailersEarlier last month, we revealed that Nintendo had a specially themed Nintendo 3DS console that would sport a Yoshi motif on its cover. At that time the console was announced for gamers in Europe, but the good news is that it looks like it could be arriving in North America around the same time as well.

This is according to a couple of listings made by retailers such as KMart and Toys “R” Us in their advertisements. According to both listings, the console will retail for $199.99 but unfortunately it seems that despite the Yoshi theme, there is a chance that it will not come with Yoshi’s New Island preinstalled. Skyfall Train Fight Scene Created In GTA 5

Skyfall is the latest James Bond film to have been released, and while it might not necessarily share the same tone or feel as its predecessors, Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, it proved to be a hit amongst James Bond fans.

For those who have watched the movie, you guys might recall that at the start of the show, James Bond and Miss Moneypenny chase a bad guy through the streets before he hops onto a train. James Bond proceeds to follow him onto the train where they duke it out and so on. We won’t spoil it completely for those who have yet to watch it. (more…)

The definitive guide to not being a Glasshole

    Not on a date. Ever.

    (Credit: Google)

There seem still to be misconceptions about how to behave when wearing Google Glass.

Google has offered its own guidelines, but these are modest — though the company is to be commended for using the popular word “Glasshole.”

However, after an altercation broke out last week in a San Francisco bar, when some found the wearing of Glass objectionable, I thought I’d offer some more definitive guidelines for Glass Etiquette.

    1. WHEN WEARING GLASS IN PUBLIC, DRESS APPROPRIATELY. Look, Glass is just too weird-looking to work with a check shirt or even a hoodie. Please think about matching better. Wear a Cyberman uniform from Doctor Who. Or perhaps a nice Star Trek sweater. Attaching some pointy ears might help too. That way, people will understand that you are a person of and from the future and not just some rich techie who wants to rub their faces in his or her greatness.

Samsung Confirms 64-bit Chipsets For 2014

Samsung Confirms 64 bit Chipsets For 2014Back in 2013 when Apple unveiled the iPhone 5s and the A7 64-bit chipset, Samsung was reported to be prepping their own 64-bit chipset as well. It was rumored that the chipset would debut in the Galaxy S5, but obviously that has not happened.

It was also expected to be unveiled at MWC 2014 this year as well but that did not not happen either. Instead Samsung unveiled newer Exynos 5 models, one of which was an octa-core setup while the other was a hexa-core. However the good news is that Samsung is working on those 64-bit chipsets and they are expected to debut later this year. (more…)

    Download YouTube Videos Using KeepVid

Jake Ludington shows us how easy it is to download YouTube videos by using a site called KeepVid. Using KeepVid you enter the YouTube URL into the text box on the homepage and press “Download”. The site will then give you the download link you need to use in order to download the movie. It doesn’t get much easier than that, unless of course YouTube offered download links directly on their site.

16GB Galaxy S5 Will Come With 10.7GB Of Storage After All

16GB Galaxy S5 Will Come With 10.7GB Of Storage After AllAs you might recall just last week, there were reports that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5’s ROM might take up more space than many users would have liked. In fact the 16GB model was found to have around 8GB of space left after everything had been installed.

Granted that we never truly get the full storage, using 50% for OS installation seems a little excessive, no? Well it turns out that it might not be the case. In fact according to a new report, it seems that the Galaxy S5 will have around 10.7GB of space left when it is taken fresh out of the box. (more…)

Apple Reportedly Pressuring Music Labels For Exclusive Releases

Apple Reportedly Pressuring Music Labels For Exclusive ReleasesBeyonce is an artist that holds some serious star power. Back in 2013, the singer decided to test the limits of her popularity when she released her new album without any fanfare or announcements. Safe to say at that time, that was pretty much all anyone could talk about on social media.

This kind of breaks tradition where artists usually drops hints, or keeps reminding their fans that their album is about to be released. Turns out Beyonce did not have anything to worry about as the album broke the iTunes record where it was released as an exclusive, and now Apple wants to recreate that effect with other artists as well.

According to a report from Billboard, Apple’s VP of the iTunes Store, Robert Kondrk, had been pressuring label executives every since January to follow in the steps of Beyonce and release more albums that would exclusive to iTunes. (more…)
