Earlier in the week, we brought you word that Apple intends to raise the prices in its iTunes App Store in select regions so that those will be on par with changes in foreign exchange rates. The five affected regions will include Australia, India, Indonesia, Turkey, and South Africa, while Israel and New Zealand will see select price tiers decreased. That day has arrived, in Australia at least, where apps that used to cost A$0.99 on the Australian iTunes App Store will now be 30% more expensive at A$1.29.

Not only that, the main app that this particular contact of yours happens to be WhatsApp, so much so that you’re sick and tired of hearing the incoming message alert of WhatsApp. Well, that particular person could actually be suffering from a disease known as “WhatsAppitis”. We’re not making this up for sure, as The Lancet, one of the most well respected medical journals in the world, has reported on the diagnosis of this disease in a 34-year-old doctor who actually spent six hours on Christmas Eve sending WhatsApp messages to her friends and family.

While Sprint launched their Spark service that delivered high speed capability to the masses in October last year, it seems that not all is well in Spark-land. Apparently, Sprint’s Spark data network would end up as impotent whenever there is a voice call going on. The basic premise is this – Spark phones tend to hang up when it comes to the likes of GPS navigation, Facebook, or when running other apps each time you are chatting away on a voice call.

The HTC One M8 Developer Edition was made available on March 25th last month, and it seems that the adage of the early bird getting the worm holds true here to a certain extent – price wise, at least. The HTC One M8 Developer Edition will be more expensive from tomorrow onward according to this tweet, retailing for $50 more than when it was first introduced, which means that the final sticker price for the HTC One M8 Developer Edition would be at $699.99 a pop.
