Silent Circle’s mobile apps have helped make calls, messages and storing contacts more secure, but to enjoy its encryption benefits other people would need to use the same service. That could no longer be a problem for some, after the company…
The rumored LG G3 Mini has apparently been spotted again, and this time around it appears in the form of a schematic, albeit a very simple one, thanks to @evleaks. It has been alleged to be of the dual SIM variant, and it also does look as though the LG G3S has been certified in Ukraine as you can see right after the jump. Still, a leaked simple schematic of this purported smartphone does not really tell us anything, especially the juicy details such as its hardware specifications, apart from a possible idea on what the finished article probably looks like.

It should inherit a fair number of specifications and features from the full fledged LG G3 flagship device of course, but what are some of the other hardware configurations that you would like to see? The presence of dual SIM capability points to this being a mid-range device, and what is up with the Apple inspired naming convention right at the back?
As with all other leaks and rumors, do take this particular one with a pinch of salt until something more concrete arrives, but most importantly it would be an official statement from LG that ought to cement things for good where the rumored LG G3S is concerned.

Mary Phillips, 98, Evicted From San Francisco Apartment After Living There For 50 Years
Posted in: Today's ChiliA 98-year-old San Francisco woman is being evicted from her home of 50 years, and critics says it’s because the building’s owners want to sell the place to take advantage of the city’s booming real estate market.
“I’ve been very happy here,” Mary Phillips told KRON 4. “I’ve always paid my rent, I’ve never been late.”
Protesters gathered Wednesday at the officers of the building’s owners, Urban Green Investments, in support of Phillips. They’re calling for an end to the rising number of evictions under the Ellis Act, which allows landlords to evict tenants, temporarily shut down a rental property and then sell it at a profit, Business Insider reported.
Urban Green did not respond to a request for comments from local media either this week or last year, when the evictions also made headlines.
Phillips says she’s not leaving without a fight.
“They’re going to have to take me out of here feet first,” she told KRON. “Just because of your age, don’t let people push you around.
Activist are asking people to contact Urban Green to express support for Phillips and others like her.
“Feel free to let Urban Green CEO David McCloskey, who’s evicting her, know what you think, ask him how he sleeps at night and if he’d put his grandmother on the streets,” a message on the Vanishingsf Facebook page reads, along with contact information: David@urbangreeninv.com and the phone number (415) 651-4441.

Final Halo 3 Easter Egg Discovered
Posted in: Today's Chili
We are well aware that all good things must always come to an end, and the same applies to the epic game we know as Halo 3. It seems that the Halo 3 fan community has at long last come across the much whispered, but never really discovered, loading screen Easter Egg. Allegedly the last Easter Egg ever on the platinum selling Halo 3, it has been discovered a good seven years after the game’s release – but surely this is not as long a wait as the recently discovered cloud glitch in Super Mario World, right?
How do you engage the last Halo 3 Easter Egg? It seems that should you press both thumbsticks on Halo 3′s loading screen when the console is tricked into thinking it is Christmas, you will then have your eyes see a wider view of the Halo ring. If you were to actually peer closely, one ought to be able to make out the words “Happy Birthday Lauren!” that appears on the ring.
Apparently, this long fabled Easter Egg has been referenced to in the past in a couple of different Bungie Mail Sack Q&A sessions., where a Bungie Mail Sack 9.0 teased, “There is one Easter egg in Halo 3 that I don’t think anyone has found – I stumbled across it in code a while back. It only happens on a specific day … so good luck.”

A Grilling Alternative: Fish Collar

Grilling is one of the best parts of summer. But it can also be one of the unhealthiest. Too many burgers won’t help anyone stick to their diet.
One alternative that is often overlooked is fish collar. This meaty part of fish like sea bass or salmon can hold up just as well to a smoky grill, but with all the benefits of eating seafood.
We got Acme’s Mads Refslund to give us his recipe for grilling fish collar and he even shows us a particularly special barbecue sauce to go with it.
Watch the video above to see it all!
