It’s that time of year again! That special window where everyone rushes to shed their old iPhones in order to recoup a little cash before the new, maybe bigger, inevitably better iPhone rears its shiny head.
De-icing slippery winter roads is a vital public safety measures in cold-weather climates. However, the annual cycle of salting streets only to have the mineral seep into the blacktop and rot it from the inside wreaks havoc on transportation infrastructure throughout the U.S. and around the world. This little bot helps fix that.

But now, for the first time in many, many years, it’s given its login page an overhaul. It’s the end of an era, and it could signal broader, site-wide changes.

Alleged Apple A8 Image Leaked
Posted in: Today's ChiliWhat you see above happens to be a purported Apple iPhone 6 system chip, which is currently referred to as the Apple A8, that has leaked out. It is touted that this is the system chip that will run all proceedings of the upcoming iPhone 6 from under the hood, and it has been caught alongside the well aged Apple A5. The alleged Apple A8 chip is larger in size physically compared to its predecessor, and this also needs to be said – the Apple A5, when it first rolled out, also happened to be one of the biggest Apple chips the public has seen to date where Apple’s mobile devices are concerned.
An increase in the physical size of the Apple A8 might signal the possibility of Apple taking the quad-core path, which could be seen as an “upgrade” in the eyes for some, especially when they are still running on a dual-core chip at the moment. Of course, do take what you see above with more than just a single pinch of salt, since the leak itself has not yet been confirmed. In other words, until something official is shared, there is every possibility that this could very well be one red herring.

Lenovo Vibe X2 Leaked
Posted in: Today's ChiliIt does look as though there are more and more leaks coming out these days, regardless of the mobile device at hand. Of course, Apple’s products tend to take up the bulk of the attention, but this does not mean that there is no room on the news wires for other players such as Lenovo to grace the headlines. Apparently, an upcoming smartphone from the computer manufacturer happens to be known as the Lenovo Vibe X2, where it will arrive in the usual flagship form factor – that is, to sport a premium metal chassis, and is also the first smartphone from Lenovo that sports what they call a ‘layered’ design.
The Lenovo Vibe X2 is tipped to be unveiled officially to the masses at the upcoming IFA 2014 conference in Berlin, Germany, which is all set to kick off in a few days’ time. China-based microblog Weibo, however, has different ideas about this smartphone, which is where we managed to get hold of the image that you see above.
The Lenovo Vibe X2’s touted ‘layered’ design will feature a layering of colors, but other than that, it would more or less deliver a pretty standard Android-powered experience, although we might see a relatively affordable price tag that might just make the Lenovo Vibe X2 one interesting proposition when it arrives on your local carrier.
Other hardware specifications include a 5” IPS display at 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a 13MP camera at the back, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 2,250mAh battery.
