We all know we should recycle our electronics, but we don’t really know what happens after we drop them off at the e-waste center. So filmmaker Alex Gorosh followed his old iPhones, all the way to Agbogbloshie, Ghana, the largest electronics dump in the world. It’s a place so dirty and dangerous it’s nicknamed “Sodom and Gomorrah.”

When we first logged in to the PlayStation 4 back in November of 2013, there was one extremely unique shooting game ready for us to play – one called Warframe. This wasn’t and isn’t the only 3rd-person shooter game in this console’s generation – and it certainly isn’t alone now on the Xbox One. But it is free – and … Continue reading
The online streaming giant Netflix already allows users to pair their Facebook accounts and suggest content to their friends. Any content recommended on the world’s largest social network previously used to be posted to the user’s timeline. Now though the Facebook integration has been tweaked a bit. Netflix will now allow its subscribers to send private recommendations to their friends on Facebook, if they ever come across something that’s meant for a particular pair of eyes only.
The new social recommendation feature launched by Netflix today lets subscribers easily and privately recommend shows or movies that they have found with only those they really want to share them with.
To take advantage of this feature first a Facebook account needs to be integrated with the Netflix account. Once a movie or show has been watched a question will pop up: Do you want to suggest this video to a friend?
Some Facebook friends will be displayed as thumbnails and others will be included in a searchable list. Select a friend and add an optional message. The recommendation won’t be posted to the friend’s News Feed, instead a notification would be sent to those that have their Netflix accounts integrated, those who don’t will receive a private message about the recommendation in Facebook Messenger.
This social recommendation feature will be available on the Netflix website, iOS, PlayStation 3, Xbox as well as smart TVs and set-top boxes. Additional platforms will be added soon.

Cicret Smart Bracelet Projects Your Phone’s Display on Your Arm: Remote Armtop
Posted in: Today's ChiliIf you think that Google Glass’ and smartwatch displays are too small for you, keep an eye on the Cicret Bracelet. French company Cicret claims its gadget can project your mobile device’s display on your skin. Not only that, it can also detect your touch input and send it back to your device.
Apparently the bracelet uses a picoprojector to show what’s on your mobile device’s screen on your skin. You’ll then be able to interact with the projected display as if it was your phone or tablet’s actual screen with the help of eight proximity sensors built into the bracelet. The bracelet’s own processor will analyze your input and send it back to your device.
The bracelet will also supposedly have its own onboard storage, although I’m not sure if it can open files on its own.
Coundc too good to be true? Perhapc. It also doesn’t help that Cicret actually launched two different products in one fundraiser: the bracelet and a privacy app (hence the company’s name). You can pledge at least $399 (USD) on Indiegogo to receive a Cicret Bracelet as a reward. The company is shooting for a $600-$700 retail price, but even with the steep discount I think you should wait for an actual demo of the bracelet before you part with your money.
