FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — The St. Louis region has been preparing for the grand jury announcement in the Ferguson case, but there is no evidence that the announcement is imminent.
The 12-member grand jury has been considering whether charges are warranted against Ferguson police Officer Darren Wilson, who shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown on Aug. 9.
A prosecutor’s office spokesman said around noon Friday that the grand jury was still in session. And the Brown family’s attorney, Ben Crump, told The Associated Press on Saturday that he was told he’d be notified when the grand jury reached a decision, but he hadn’t heard anything yet.
Tension has been rising amid speculation that a decision would be announced soon, and Friday marked the third straight night of unrest between police and protesters in Ferguson.

Get Up Close And Personal With This Impossibly Intricate Buddhist Sand Mandala
Posted in: Today's ChiliIn Buddhist tradition, a mandala is a sacred image that graphically represents the universe and is intended for use during meditation. Typically circular in shape, a mandala has a central point — called a “seed” or “drop” — toward which all energies are thought to converge.
Buddhist monks frequently create mandalas out of paper, cloth or as three-dimensional models — but occasionally they use bowls of colored sand, which must be delicately placed in a painstaking process that can take weeks. Once completed, the sand mandala is said to represent the fleeting nature of life and is shortly thereafter destroyed by the same monks who labored over it.
We are blown away by the intricacy of these ephemeral mandalas and thought we’d take a closer look…

He didn’t do it for the Vine.
Social media star Nash Grier totally killed it in his recent parody of the horror flick “Ouija.” Like the movie, the video focuses on a group friends holding a seance for their dead friend Debbie. In this version, the dead girl was Grier’s girlfriend, but when she starts sending messages to the other members of the group instead of him, you find out that Debbie has a few more secrets besides playing with a Ouija board.
The 16-year-old Grier is mostly know for his Vine videos, but with this latest parody trending on Twitter almost immediately after its release, he may soon be taking over YouTube, too.

In Jimmy Fallon’s latest “Thank You Notes” segment on “The Tonight Show,” the host channeled the true spirit of Thanksgiving and gave a special shoutout to all the turkeys out there.
“Thank you, turkeys, for being really well fed all this week,” Fallon said, “and probably thinking, ‘Man, November is the best!'” The poor turkeys have no idea what’s coming, but at least they get to spend their final days eating, right?
Other thank you notes included Fallon thanking the new “Star Wars VII” trailer for debuting before the upcoming final “Hobbit” film, the Snapchat logo and the woman marrying Charles Manson. “Thank you for making Charles Manson look like the non-crazy one in the relationship.” Perfectly said, Fallon.
“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.
