BlackBerry Classic Said To Come In White Shade As Well

The old has gone, the new has come. Somehow, there are times in life when the new does not really make all that much sense at all since it has brought about more spills as opposed to thrills. The upcoming BlackBerry Classic comes in a design that is touted to make fans of the older BlackBerry models return to this brand where their smartphone of choice is concerned, and it has been available for pre-order over in the US and Canada ever since November rolled around, with shipping of this classic device tipped to happen some time on December 17.

However, BlackBerry has listed only the black version of the smartphone over on its official website. N4BB has managed to come up with a render that does point to a white variant, although nothing official has been announced to mention whether the white version of the BlackBerry Classic will roll out simultaneously alongside the black colored handset. Regardless, we do not expect the white BlackBerry Classic to fetch insane prices on eBay ala 20th Anniversary PlayStation 4 edition, which points to an unlocked price of $449 a pop.

Just to recap, the BlackBerry Classic will feature a full QWERTY keyboard, a square 3.5” display at 720 x 720 pixels resolution, LTE connectivity, an 8MP camera at the back, a 2MP front-facing camera, 2GB RAM, a dual-core Snapdragon 1.5GHz processor, and 16GB of internal memory, with BlackBerry 10 OS running proceedings from within.

Swastika Wrapping Paper Pulled From Walgreens

Walgreens is pulling a Hanukkah wrapping paper from its stores after one shopper noticed a disturbing symbol hidden in the blue-and-silver pattern.

“We were wandering around the store and saw the wrapping paper and I looked at it and said, ‘These are swastikas,’ and I just blew it. I didn’t know what to do,” Cheryl Shapiro told the Los Angeles Daily News. “I called my rabbi. It was four in the afternoon but it was still Shabbat so he wouldn’t pick up the phone.”

The 63-year-old grandmother told NBC Los Angeles that she went to the manager of the store to complain about the Nazi symbol.

I told them I wanted this taken off the shelves immediately — not just your store, but national,” Shapiro told the station. “I was really putting my foot down because I was appalled by this.”

NBC said they found the wrapping paper in at least one other area Walgreens.

However, the chain says it’s now pulling the paper from all of its stores.

“We have implemented a process to prevent the product from being sold at the register as we remove the item from our stores,” Walgreens spokesman Phil Caruso told The Huffington Post.

NES30 Bluetooth Controller Rolls Back The Clock

nes30There is nothing quite like rolling back the years when it comes to thinking of the pleasant memories of the yesteryears. Well, NES games have definitely shaped a generation of gamers who grew up around the grey box in living rooms all over the world, and with that, it would surely be not too difficult to look fondly upon the NES30 Bluetooth controller.

Of course, if you were going to play with the NES30 Bluetooth controller, then you can be sure that your gaming experience on a smartphone will never be the same again. At the very least, you will not have to worry about having at least one thumb covering part of the display whenever you are controlling your in-game character. H

The addition of a couple of red buttons to the right are not exactly a throwback to the old school design, but a couple of buttons as found on the original NES controller will definitely not make the cut in this day and age, as those are just plain inadequate for today’s games. The NES30 Bluetooth controller is tipped to arrive in a couple of classic colors, where they will play nice with Android, iOS, Windows, PC, and Mac platforms. If your device does not have Bluetooth connectivity, there is also the option to enjoy it via USB.
