It can be a lot of fun to wear something unusual and kitschy that no one else has found yet. This Paper Scarf definitely fills the bill for that. It looks like a sheet of notebook paper complete with the blue lines and red margin embroidered onto it. You can even take a marker and write down your thoughts on it and wear them right along with the scarf.
Searching for a post on Facebook has historically been terrible. Most connected people on the earth post to Facebook, but the service has largely been a terrible resource for, you know, finding the posts you want. Until now, you were better off scrolling through a timeline, but Facebook has changed all that. They’ve updated their graph search to better serve … Continue reading
The creator of the game Auralux has returned to the scene with another aesthetically gorgeous title, this one made for Samsung Gear VR specifically. This game goes by the name “Darknet”, and it summons the classic age of “hacker” understanding – namely that time in history when movies depicted hacking as a visually rich, 3D-like experience. This experience stems from … Continue reading
Need some place to keep track of all the cargo you’re smuggling? This Chewbacca-themed 160-page notebook is not only covered in a luxurious coat of fur, it also makes actual Wookiee sounds whenever you open the cover. It doesn’t have a lock, but doesn’t need one because everybody knows not to mess with a Wookiee, right?
The New York Times‘ Retro Report series has an excellent new short documentary video about the rise of Napster. Remember the year 2000? We were such pirates back then.
Last month, the European Space Agency landed on a comet 300 million miles away to take samples that could help unravel our solar system’s origins . It turns out there are pieces of comets closer to home, too. Scientists have just found comet dust preserved in the frozen reaches of Antarctica.

Multiple reports have come in out the problems that Destiny players are facing on the PlayStation 4. Tomorrow the first DLC, titled The Dark Below, is going to be released for this popular game. Before the DLC lands it appears there’s some problem with the title because players are being locked out of it on Sony’s console.
There has been no confirmation as yet from Bungie explaining what is causing this to happen, so we’ll have to wait and see what the developer’s response to this is. A fix is being floated online for players who have a digital copy of Destiny installed on their console, but its merely a temporary fix.
The problem arises after The Dark Below DLC has been purchased. Once they purchase is made, the entire Destiny game is blocked off and a countdown time is shown which is ticking down to the time the first DLC goes live. An image uploaded on reddit shows what Destiny players on PS4 are facing post-purchase.
There have been some reports from people who own discs that they are not facing any issues with Destiny after purchasing the DLC. For those who own a digital copy, deleting the game, downloading it again and reinstalling it seems to fix the problem for the time being.
Even if Bungie is not quick to address this issue, Destiny players only have to wait until tomorrow because that’s when The Dark Below DLC will finally become playable.
