A federal agent says he pinned the Silk Road on Ulbricht with a simple Google search.

While we did touch on the possibility of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 arriving with a Snapdragon 410 chipset, here we are with word that the above mentioned model, in addition to the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, has been spotted on the GFXBench site which points to the 64-bit Snapdragon 410 chipset within, in addition to a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 that also carries a 64-bit chip, now how about that?
The thing is, instead of making use of the Snapdragon 410 chipset that sees action in the other two tablets, it looks as though Samsung intends to include the Marvell Armada Mobile PXA1908 within the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. This is a quad-core Cortex A-53 chip that will also see action in the leaked Samsung Xcover3 which we talked about earlier this morning. Thanks to a change in the innards, expect the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 tablet to come with a new model number – that is SM-T239, alongside the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Lite 7.0 LTE.

When it come to the TV series known as Game of Thrones, you know for sure that there is a huge following. So much so, that the season finale has broken the torrenting record in the past. The clever implementation of music into this trailer is nothing short of excellent, and you might want to pay close attention to the characters that are on screen, too. It is common knowledge by now for fans of the series to know that the events as written in the book has seen some shuffling and adjustments made, so it remains tricky to figure out what is happening when and where. Tesla’s Model X, the SUV that has seen its fair share of delays, has been touted to enter production some time this year. In fact, the Tesla Model X SUV is also touted to be the first tow-capable electric car in the world, and I am quite sure that this will be far from its list of firsts in due time. The video that you see above will most probably depict the long awaited Model X SUV in action, and there is nothing quite like putting the ride through a stress test. The thing is, in order to maintain a certain level of secrecy, Tesla has decided to dress down this ride with a rather unimpressive paint job.
Hopefully at the end of the day, all of the relevant and necessary testing will be done, so that the Model X will finally be able to make its way to the masses who have expressed interest in it ever since it was announced in 2012. The Model X from Tesla might look as though it does sport a rather hefty build, but hopefully, with a fair bit of tweaking and adjustments, it too, will be fast – like its sedan sibling. After all, there is nothing quite like having a firmware update to your ride to increase its performance, right?

Do know that stealing is a crime – regardless of whether you are pirating digital media, or simply ripping off a physical disc. Of course, the traditional description of a theft, which involves taking something that does not belong to you in the corporeal world, still applies. In fact, there was this bunch of thieves over at a Walmart-owned ASDA supermarket in Cheshire, England, who cleverly evaded security after they successfully managed to pack in the DVDs that they would like to watch later on into envelopes. Rather than walking out of the store with these stolen goods in hand, the thieves then sent the packages to themselves – all the while making use of the in-store Post Office.
Staff over at ASDA managed to figure out the modus operandi later on, and decided to take the preventative step of relocating packaging supplies behind its entertainment counter over at the other end of the store. Let’s just say that this is best left unknown to the world, as it was because of a local shopper who wanted to pick up an envelope that he was then let into the secret of what had happened previously. This is now a police matter, so hopefully the culprits will be caught – at least they’re more wily than this bunch of crooks.

When it comes to technology and music, you know for sure that Jay Z does not shy from the digital medium. In fact, the music mogul did release his Magna Carta Holy Grail album to a million Galaxy device owners. Having said that, it seems that Jay Z, rich as he is, will be snapping up Tidal, a high-quality music streaming service that was previously owned by a Norwegian company. The entire bid stood at approximately $56 million after conversion, and the company’s reviewing board has recommended that all of its shareholders ought to pick up Jay Z’s offer.
It is not all that simple on paper though, as “Project Panther,” a company indirectly owned by Jay Z’s S. Carter Enterprises, was the one that decided to bid for Aspiro, a company which actually runs Tidal. It also has a similar service known as WiMP, where the WiMP service actually has more than 500,000 paying subscribers as of last September prior to Tidal’s launch. While this does not mean that Tidal will go up against the likes of Spotify or Beats Music directly, it does seem as though it is moving down that path, and with Jay Z’s global superstar popularity, you can be sure that this potential acquisition would definitely see Tidal’s profile rise.

Uber and court cases do seem to get acquainted with one another rather often – and in the latest incident, an Indian woman claimed that she was raped by a driver of Uber over in Delhi, and has decided to file a lawsuit against the service all the way in a US court. The 26-year old alleged victim claimed that Uber was negligent in their duty to ensure passengers’ safety, and is currently looking for unspecified damages.
Uber themselves did mention in a statement that the company has been in full co-operation with the authorities to make sure that justice will be served to the perpetrator, of course. Driver Shiv Kumar Yadav is the one who is on trial at the moment, with rape and kidnapping charges pointing in his direction. He has, of course, denied the charges. The woman’s lawyer did file the lawsuit in San Francisco, and has asked for the woman’s identity to be protected. In the lawsuit, Uber’s service has been described to be a “modern-day equivalent of electronic hitchhiking”.
Uber spokeswoman Nairi Hourdajian spoke up, saying that Uber’s “deepest sympathies remain with the victim of this horrific crime. We are co-operating fully with the authorities to ensure the perpetrator is brought to justice.”
