You don’t need to see a cattle yard to identify its existence; the smell alone is usually enough. Now, though, you’re breathing in not just the aromatic compounds you likely know well—but a selection of antibiotics and antibiotic-resistant DNA, too.

Earlier this month at MWC 2015, BlackBerry unveiled their latest handset in the form of the BlackBerry Leap and for those who are shopping about for a new smartphone but don’t want to spend too much, you might be interested to learn that BlackBerry has recently begun to accept pre-orders for the handset.
Pre-orders of the handset can be made via the company’s ShopBlackBerry website and will be limited to a few countries at launch. This includes the US, UK, and Germany, all of whom will be joining France in which customers in the country were able to pre-order the handset starting last week on the 26th of March.
The handset is priced at a rather affordable $275 so like we said, if you’re shopping on a budget and want the latest BlackBerry 10 handset, then perhaps the BlackBerry Leap might be the phone for you. Pricing and availability for other countries are expected to be announced in the coming weeks, so if you don’t see your country in the list yet, fret not as it should be coming soon.
As a quick recap for those who might have missed the earlier announcement, the handset will come with a 5-inch HD display and will come with an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, a 2,800mAh battery and will run on BlackBerry OS 10.3.1. For US customers, it has been noted on the pre-order page that the handset will not work with AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon, leaving T-Mobile as your only carrier of choice.

Late last year we reported that Canon was working on a premium compact camera with a large sensor, and now thanks to a recent post on Canon Netherlands’ website (via PhotoRumors), it seems that the device could have possibly been revealed, which you can see for yourself in the image above where the alleged device is the one on the left.
This seems to be in line with an earlier teaser photo which more or less gave the shape of the device away, but then again it could really be anything and since Canon has yet to make an official announcement, there is always the chance we could have been wrong about it. That being said we do know for a fact that Canon is working on such a camera as confirmed by the company in a press release last year.
At that time the company wrote, “Canon is developing a new premium digital compact camera that combines the merits of both large image sensor and high-magnification optical zoom lens in response to the demands from users looking for high quality high zoom performance.” It would seem that with such a device, Canon might be interested in competing against Sony and their RX-series of premium compact cameras. No word on when Canon will make the camera official but hopefully it will be soon.

Speed runs in video games aren’t anything new and are usually a way for gamers to show off that they have managed to complete a level, game, or a boss in a record-breaking time. Some might find such a play style a waste of the game since a lot of the content is usually glossed over, but we suppose gamers have their own reasons for doing so.
That being said Bloodborne was only recently released about a week ago and it looks like one gamer who owns the YouTube channel Oginam_tv has managed to beat and complete the entire game in a little under an hour – 44 minutes to be exact. Considering the amount of time that developers have put into the game, 44 minutes is certainly a rather impressive figure although it should be noted that perhaps some might not consider this a legitimate speed run.
For starters, it seems that Oginam_tv relied on some glitches in the game to speed his process. One of those glitches allowed him to skip large portions of the game, thus saving him a lot of time in the process. Another glitch allowed him to beef his character up through an item duplication process which helped him survive boss fights.
Perhaps it’s not the most legit of speed runs but it is still pretty impressive nonetheless. Gamers who want to check out the speed run in question can do so by checking out the video above, but be warned it does run pretty long so grab some popcorn, sit back, and relax.
