Project Cars First DLC Car Unveiled

Project Cars developer Slightly Mad Studios hopes that it will be able to satisfy fans’ appetite by giving them visuals from the game until it’s finally released. Only recently it announced that the Project Cars release had been delayed again. Last week it released a video which shows many of the tracks featured in the title. Today the developer released a video of the first DLC car for Project Cars.

Granted that it’s a bit unusual to see the DLC even before the title has been released but it’s not unheard of. Project Cars first DLC car is the Lykan Hypersport.

This car will be playing a major role in the upcoming film Furious 7 from the Fast & Furious franchise. The trailer released today shows this car in action in Project Cars.

Project Cars was originally going to be released in November 2014. Slightly Mad Studios first delayed it to February 2015, then April and just recently it confirmed that the title will not arrive before May.

The title’s stunning visuals, dynamic weather system and time-of-day lighting have got many people, including myself, interested.

Bandai Namco has picked it up for full distribution and Project Cars will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in May 2015.
