Ever since cars first hit the road drivers have been terrible at parking, so it makes sense that we’re finally leveraging all the advancements we’ve made in robotics to do that for us. But instead of an automaton hopping into the driver’s seat, these flat but strong robots are able to lift a vehicle by its wheels and maneuver it around obstacles.
Smartwatches, tablets, and phones are great, but they’re not exactly futuristic technology. To find that, you have to look to the scientists and designers who are prototyping entirely new kinds of devices.
We all have at least one question about the formidable bed bug: How do I avoid having this goddamned pest infest my home? Actually make that two: How do I avoid getting bed bugs and how do I get rid of them if I do?
For quite some time, T-Mobile has been rumored for a merger or buyout. AT&T, Sprint, Dish, Iliad — you name them, T-Mobile has probably been rumored or in talks for a merger or acquisition. While T-Mobile CEO John Legere likes to slap away all talk of T-Mobile falling under the auspice of another company — and has even said he’s … Continue reading

Of Course an Apple Watch Will Blend
Posted in: Today's ChiliYou can probably guess that I am a serious gadget hound. I like gadgets even if many of them are of questionable use. It’s sort of like a Dungeon Master collecting every die he can lay hands on just in case they ever need to roll a 1-in-50 chance of a Paladin getting demonic syphilis. That said, it irks me when people buy cool gadgets just to break them and send other geeks into nerdrage.
Perhaps the most famous YouTube channel for killing cool gadgets for no reason is Blendtec. This time out Blendtec took a brand new Apple Watch Sport, dropped it into the blender, and hit the power button. If you are an Apple fanboy or fangirl, look away.
At least they used the ugliest of all Apple Watches for the blend. At first, I thought the watch would make it, and then things went primal. Yes, the Apple Watch will blend. Check it out for yourself if you can stand to see wanton gadgetocide.
