Tidal did NOT just jack up their price

Earlier today it appeared that the iOS version of Tidal’s music streaming app had pushed a price increase on users. In fact, this price increase isn’t new. Also in fact – it isn’t universal. It’s only through Apple’s mobile products. With iTunes, according to Tidal, “Apple’s policy is to charge TIDAL subscribers a 30% fee on your monthly subscription, for … Continue reading

The Bracelet Flask – keep your spirits high and your accessories fly

The Bracelet Flask

There’s nothing wrong with partaking in the occasional drink. If you are aware of your limitations and don’t go off in excess, it can make a pleasant evening even more delightful. However, if you want to go out with friends for an evening at a bar, but don’t want to pay for several full-priced drinks, there’s nothing wrong with drinking ahead of time or bringing your own beverage, so long as you have a dedicated driver in place.

If you don’t want to begin partaking in libations until you are physically at the bar, but don’t want to conspicuously carry a shot glass into the establishment, why not carry a flask? There are several different kinds to choose from that can blend into your attire, but none are as fanciful as this Bracelet Flask. This porcelain flask has a gunmetal-inspired glaze with a hollow interior and a cork on the top. It can hold about 1.5 ounces of liquid, which is just enough for a shot to be enjoyed on its own, or to be added to coffee for an extra kick.

Sadly this does not currently ship outside of the US, but if you happen to live in the states, $35 will secure one of these for you. This measures 4.63 x 4”, and should only be rinsed with warm water. This could also be a good way to make sure you’re never without water, but 1.5 ounces is likely not going to do much. If you use this to party the night away, do be mindful that this is ceramic, and any tomfoolery that you might get into near the end of the night could break it.

halo-5-guardians-cover-art

Microsoft continues to tease the next title in the Halo franchise as it gears up for release later this year. It ran a big social media campaign and released multiple live-action trailers as well as an episodic audio series that let fans unveil more information about the new title. All of that has now resulted into the official reveal of the Halo 5: Guardians cover art. Some mysteries have still not been revealed and for that fans will have to wait until E3 2015 to find out more.

The Halo 5: Guardians cover art reveal was also tied to a social media campaign. Several cryptic images were posted on various online channels across the globe without any explanation, instructions or even references to the Halo universe.

Nevertheless it didn’t take long for Halo fans to piece it together and reveal the official Halo 5: Guardians cover art. A video version has also been released which highlights Spartan fireteams which will play a “crucial role” in the showdown between Master Chief and Spartan Locke.

Alas, we have not been told who these Spartans are. This “and many more mysteries” are being kept under the wraps until E3 2015, we’ll have to wait for Microsoft’s event at the gaming convention to find out more.

Halo 5: Guardians is going to be released on October 27, 2015. It’s an Xbox exclusive.
