As much as Twitter is doing to fight harassment lately, it’s clear that ill-willed users are still slipping past the social network’s defenses — and sometimes, in very conspicuous ways. Users have spotted trolls using Twitter’s promoted tweet ads to…
As life moves at an ever-increasing rate, we want nothing more than to have everything as streamlined as possible. Time is money, and we usually don’t have enough of either to make things seem fair. That’s why the little things like listening to music and playing games are so important to us. They have the power to change how you feel about a day.
If you’re on the hunt for a new speaker, then why not choose something that will be almost completely hassle-free? This Induction Duo Speaker uses, you guessed it, induction, to crank up your phone’s volume. It has a six hour battery life, and two 5-watt drivers that don’t need to pair or plug into your phone to pump up the jams. You only need to set your device on top for it to start cranking out music at a louder decibel.
This works with any device that has an external speaker, and will still turn up the sound even if you have a case on your smartphone (the device most are going to use). It has a soft, rubberized feel to it, and the only cable you’ll need is for charging. If you’re interested in this sort of convenience, then you’ll be looking at paying around $39 for this speaker. It does have a rather short battery life, compared to ones that can go for 10 or more hours, but whether or not that matters is up to your situation.
Available for purchase on red5

Galaxy Tab S 10.5 owners who got this tablet through a carrier have waited for quite some time even though the tablet’s Wi-Fi only variant received the much awaited Lollipop update back in March. Following the release of said update by T-Mobile and AT&T, the country’s largest mobile carrier is jumping on the bandwagon as well. Galaxy Tab S 10.5 gets Lollipop on Verizon today.
Samsung’s support website has been updated to reflect that said update is being rolled out for the SM-T807V, which is the Verizon variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. This means that it shouldn’t be long till Verizon starts the over-the-air roll out.
Software version T807VVRU1BOD2 will be rolling out for this tablet today and will update it to Android 5.0.2. It’s going to include everything that you will expect to find in a Lollipop update, such as the new notifications experience, Material Design UI, performance improvements and much more.
We know from previous updates that this release is going to come in around 1GB so it’s imperative that the update is downloaded on a Wi-Fi connection.
Verizon is yet to update the support page for this tablet but it shouldn’t be long before that happens as well, one thing’s for sure though, it’s sending out this update for the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 today.

Refurbished units get fixed up by the company even there is something that needs attention and should last customers a long time, and they won’t notice any difference between the performance of a refurbished unit and one bought at full price.
Apple tests each refurbished unit before selling it and swaps the battery and outer shell, it even includes a one-year warranty with these variants, customers do get good bang for their buck.

iOS 9 Could Come With Home App
Posted in: Today's ChiliIt looks like employees of Apple have started to test versions of iOS 9, and among the apps there that have been made available, they include one that is called Home. Just what does Home do? For instance, it will enable a user to be able to set up new smart home products, before sending them to various groups which will represent the different rooms in your home. You can also connect these groups to an Apple TV, and hunt down whatever new products that you would like to purchase. In a nutshell, the Home app looks pretty much meant for setup purposes, and it is not probably meant to control your home.
On the other hand, one should not rule out the possibility that Home happens to be an internal testing app which will never see the light of day. 9to5Mac claims, however, that Home is a “series of screens” which would enable folks to look for new smart home apps and products, which means it might eventually end up in the hands of the masses. So far, Apple has remained mum on Home, which is pretty much what they do for just about any upcoming device or product. All that we can do now is to sit tight and wait.

Microsoft has just issued another update for Windows 10 today, but this particular one does come with a portion of warning to it – basically, those who happen to have an Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) graphics chipset should expect “frequent crashes” when it comes to using the new Edge browser, bummer. Build 10122 from Microsoft is out after three weeks since its predecessor was released, which so happens to be triple the interval between build 10074 and its precursor, although less waiting time when compared to the average of 29 days since the previous fall when it started to seed previews to the public.
Gabriel Aul, the engineering general manager for Microsoft’s operating system group, did share on the various improvements that would accompany build 10122, but before he got into that, he did mention a rather major bug associated with this Windows 10 update..
Aul mentioned, “If you’re using an AMD GPU [graphics processor unit] you’re likely to run into frequent crashes in Microsoft Edge (still branded as ‘Project Spartan’ in this build). We’re working with our partners at AMD on new drivers which should prevent the issue and will update this post once they’re released.”
Hopefully then can suss this out sooner rather than later! If you are rocking to an AMD graphics chipset, would this news make you switch?
