German company Nerdytec caters to PC gamers who prefer to play on their TVs. Its Couchmaster series consists of lap desks that have a pair of large and soft armrests. The wooden desk also comes with optional wrist rests.
The Couchmaster comes in two main variants, Basic and Pro. The main difference between the two is that the Pro version’s desk has holes and hidden panels for cable management. There’s also an even more pro Pro version that comes with a 4-port 900mA USB 3.0 hub and a 15ft USB 3.0 extension cable. All Couchmasters come with a pair of small bags, as well as stick-on Velcro strips for attaching the wrist rests and bags.
Aside from the USB hub and extension cable, Nerdytec also offers an ash tray, a phone holder and a tablet holder as add-ons. Here’s PC Perspective’s review of the Couchmaster Pro:
If you’re just about to make a gaming PC and want to have a Couchmaster, you better make room for it in your budget because it’s quite expensive. Nerdytec sells the Couchmaster Basic for €99 (~$110 USD), the Couchmaster Pro for €129 (~$140 USD) and the Couchmaster Pro with USB hub and extension cable for €149 (~$170 USD). If you just want the Couchmaster Pro’s desk and not the armrests, you can get that too for €79 (~$90 USD).
