Game of Thrones is one of those shows best watched with others so you can talk about what’s going on as it happens. What you need to go along with your Game of Thrones viewing party is some eats. I talked about that rolling pin that stamped the names of the great houses on whatever you rolled out not too long ago. If you prefer to cut out your cookies, you might like these cookie cutters better.
The set of six has the sigils for all the major houses. You get Baratheon, Greyjoy, Lannister, Stark, Targaryen, and Tyrell cutters all for $14.99(USD).
ThinkGeek has them right now and if you order immediately, you might have some tasty sigil cookies in time for your season finale party.

FIFA or Pro Evolution Soccer? It’s a debate that’s been around almost as long as I’ve been playing soccer (or football, to me and the rest of the world) games. Since their introductions in 1993 and 1996, respectively, EA and Konami’s series have been…
Mobile payment services are great for paying on the go. They eliminate the need to carry multiple payment cards on your person and enable you to get things done quicker at the counter. However, it takes time for these services to be widely accepted by merchants so users often have to find out beforehand if a particular merchant accepts their preferred service. Android Pay could soon make this search easier for users.
New code has been spotted in the latest version of the Android Pay app which suggests that the app could soon get location-aware services, meaning that it will be able to tell users which merchants near their locations accept the payments service.
The feature will look at the users’ current location and then pull up a map to show nearby stores that accept Android Pay. It’s going to make it very easy for people to find out which stores accept the service so that they’re not turned away at the counter when they try paying with their mobile device.
The code has been found inside the APK of the latest version of the Android Pay app. Just because the code has been spotted in the app it doesn’t necessarily mean that Google will flip the switch on this feature, even though history tells us that after the code appears it’s only a matter of time before the feature is also released to the public.

Electric cars need to offer a substantial amount of range on a single charge for them to become a viable mode of transport. There are expensive options available in the market right now that provide a range of up to 300 miles on a single charge but in a year or so the entry cost will come down for people looking to switch. Tesla’s Model 3 and Chevy’s Bolt will both cost around $30,000 and provide a range of 200 miles, and the new Nissan Leaf electric car will match them mile for mile.
Nissan has confirmed that its next-generation Leaf electric car is going to have a 200-mile range as one of the battery packs offered with the vehicle will be a 60 kWh lithium-ion pack. This means that there will be serious competition between the Tesla Model 3, Chevrolet Bolt, and the new Nissan Leaf.
The company is going to switch things up by offering multiple battery configurations, including the 24 kWh configuration that it offers with the existing Leaf that’s good for 84 miles on a single charge. A 30 kWh configuration may be offered as well with a range of 107 miles.
Nissan is yet to show off its new Leaf so it’s unclear at this point in time what this new car is going to look like and what additional features it’s going to have. Whether or not it has any semi-autonomous driving features remains to be seen. Nissan expects to launch the new Leaf late next year or by 2018.

If you follow technology news you might have heard of Peter Chou. He co-founded HTC with Cher Wang and was appointed as CEO of the company in 2004. He held the top spot at HTC for more than a decade and the company released dozens of products during that time. Things haven’t really been going well for the company over the past few years and that became evident when Chou was replaced as CEO just last year. Turns out, co-founder and ex-CEO Peter Chou has left the company.
It was announced last year that Chou was stepping down as CEO and that Cher Wang would be taking his place. He wasn’t ousted from the company, though, but it was evident that it was just a move to soften the blow.
Wang replaced Chou and he was shifted to the HTC Future Development Lab. There weren’t many updates about his work at HTC after that but the company has confirmed today that Chou left HTC in September last year.
The change in job title was basically an extended time period in which Chou looked for employment elsewhere and when he got the opportunity he left the company that he co-founded. Peter Chou became the chairman of the Digital Domain in September 2015. It’s a visual effects company that was originally co-founded by James Cameron and is now owned by Sun Innovation.
