Austin Harrouff, a Florida State University student, is accused of murdering married couple John and Michelle Stevens as they sat in their driveway of their Tequesta, Florida home. The 19-year-old reportedly stabbed the couple multiple times and then bit the man’s face.

In his only televised sit-down interview, Harrouff’s father, Dr. Wade Harrouff, a prominent dentist in the community, reveals to Dr. Phil his account of what led to the incident. Dr. Harrouff shares what he called his son’s “manic behavior” at dinner the night of the murders, and his claim that his son underwent a dramatic personality change two weeks prior to that fateful night.

“It’s the worst thing I could ever think of. This is the biggest nightmare I could ever even dream of,” an emotional Harouff tells Dr. Phil in the episode airing Wednesday, September 7. “I’m deeply sorry for what my son did to those people. And I’ll apologize for him, because my own son would have never done that … He’s such a good person. He would never knowingly do something like that. I’m truly sorry to those people.”

Harrouff, who also allegedly stabbed the Stevens’ neighbor who was attempting to help the couple, has reportedly tested negative for common drugs, but some speculate he may have been under the influence of the hallucinogenic drug ‘Flakka’, also known as “gravel” or “the zombie drug.”

Dr. Phil explores the circumstances surrounding the gruesome double murder in a ripped-from-the-headlines all-new episode. Check here to see where you can watch.

Strangers Volunteer To Attend Funeral For Woman Who Died Without Family

Strangers made sure one woman who died got the farewell she deserved.

High school teacher Ora Weinbach recently heard that nobody was planning to attend the funeral service of Francine Stein, who was 83 years old when she died. So she called on people across social media to come.

And that’s exactly what they did.

About 30 volunteers ― none of whom knew Stein ― showed up to her funeral in Rockland County, New York last week and even participated in the ceremony.

“People are actually willing to help out,” Ora, whose father Rabbi Elchanan Weinbach officiated the funeral, told The Huffington Post. “It’s just beautiful that there are people out there that are willing to give up their own time and come together and be there for somebody.”

Ora explained that during the service, which was a traditional Jewish burial, some volunteers served as pallbearers while many more picked up shovels and covered the casket with dirt after it was lowered into the ground. Care service agency Marquis Home Care offered free transportation to the funeral as well as water bottles.

The generosity from strangers is admirable, and it all stemmed from the Weinbachs. The rabbi was told that only he and the funeral director would be in attendance at the funeral ― something that didn’t sit right with neither him nor Ora. Luckily people jumped at the chance to memorialize Stein after Ora shared the information on Facebook.

Though Stein didn’t have a husband or children, she did have loved ones who would’ve attended. Gwen Curry, an assistant administrator and case manager at New Monsey Park Home for Adults, explained to the Journal News that many people from the home would’ve went to the event if they’d known about her death as the 83-year-old, who lived at the facility for about 10 years, was much-loved.

However, she was happy to see that Stein was laid to rest, surrounded by caring people.

“It’s heartbreaking that we weren’t able to say goodbye… [but] my heart felt good that she wasn’t alone,” Curry told Inside Edition. “It’s a wonderful thing for strangers to come out and support her.”

The rabbi told ABC News that he hopes to officiate a ceremony at the home so that those at the facility can remember Stein.

University Of Texas Students Start School Year With 'Cocks Not Glocks' Anti-Gun Protest

To protest a new state law that makes the carrying of concealed handguns legal in college classrooms, students at the University of Texas on Wednesday openly displayed sex toys, an act considered illegal under local indecency laws.

“We are fighting absurdity with absurdity,” said Jessica Jin, leader of the protest called “Cocks Not Glocks: Campus (Dildo) Carry,” where hundreds of sex toys were given away at the rally on Wednesday that coincided with a return to classes at university’s flagship campus.

“Texas has decided it is not all obnoxious or illegal to allow deadly concealed weapons on campus. But walking around with a dildo could land you in trouble,” Jin said.

On Aug. 1, a so-called “campus carry” law backed by the state’s Republican political leaders went into effect that allows concealed handgun license holders aged 21 and older to bring handguns into classrooms and other university facilities.

The lawmakers said campus carry protects the rights of gun owners and could prevent a mass shooting on campus.

Hundreds of university faculty and staff lobbied unsuccessfully to block campus carry, arguing the combination of youth, academic stress, alcohol and firearms could make for a deadly combination.

A U.S. district judge on Monday denied a motion from three University of Texas professors who wanted to ban guns in their classroom after the state gave some students that right under the law that went into effect this month.

On Wednesday, protests organizers shouting slogans like: “If you are packing heat, we are packing meat,” handed out hundreds of sex toys, many donated by area stores. They also handed out plastic zip ties so that protesters could strap the sex toys on to their backpacks in a sign of defiance against campus carry.

“It’s scary to think that at any moment you could be next to a person carrying a gun. And if they go off their rocker, like a lot of people do in college, it is game over for anyone nearby,” said Bianca Montgomery, a second year student.

Third year student Forrest Sullivan, who backs the campus carry law, said the rally was high on drama, emotion and humor, but short on persuasive arguments.

“Their rhetorical strategy is going to alienate of people who are on the fence about this,” he said, adding he feels safer under the law.

The university said the protest appeared to be protected political speech and did not halt the rush for dildos when organizers gave them out for free.

“This is a very funny campaign,” said protester Rebecca Galor, 20, who picked up two sex toys.

Tom Hanks And Rita Wilson Are SOOO In Love In Cute Vacation Selfie

It’s been 28 years since they tied the knot, but A-list couple Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson look like they’re still in the honeymoon phase. Actress and singer Wilson, who is Huff/Post 50’s editor-at-large, posted this loved-up selfie of the pair cozying up on a beach, captioned simply, “I love him.”

I love him

Awww.

The couple, one of Hollywood’s longest-married, have openly gushed about each other in the past.

Wilson, 59, has said the secret to their marriage is laughing a lot and mutual respect.

She posted this sweet photo of her and her husband earlier this year to celebrate Valentine’s day and their long-term love.

Happy Valentine’s Day 28 years of ❤️ ❤️

For his part, Hanks, 60, talked last year about how his wife still makes him weak in the knees.

“I’m glad we’re not in high school, because I wouldn’t have the courage to talk to her in the hallway … I’m a lucky man.”

He’s even said that marrying Wilson was like “winning the lottery.”

Could these two be any cuter? We don’t think so.

This Is What Kim Kardashian Puts On Her Face. It's Super Expensive, Because Obviously.

Ooh la la, Kim K.

Contour queen Kim Kardashian West is known for her flawless face, but she works on her glow well before the bronzer and highlighter get applied.

Kim frequently posts her beautifying rituals on Snapchat so mere mortals like us can attempt to mimic her and achieve the same glorious results.

In a recent snap, Kim showed us a selfie of her donning the luxurious La Mer’s Hydrating Facial Mask.

The mask would double as an extremely expensive Halloween costume as it renders the wearer completely unrecognizable. The mask is soaked in La Mer’s “Miracle Broth,” which diminishes dryness, reduces signs of aging, and smooths, softens and firms skin.

The price of this sort of perfection will run you some serious cash ― the Hydrating Facial Mask costs a cool $250 for 6 applications.

Le sigh. Keeping up with the Kardashians just may have us going into hock.
