James O’Keefe Threatens To Release ‘Hundreds Of Hours’ Of Leaked Newsroom Footage Soon

Conservative provocateur James O’Keefe III said on Tuesday that he will soon release “hundreds of hours” of unaired footage secreted out of a major news organization.

The footage could come as early as Thursday, he told Fox News host Sean Hannity during a radio interview. The footage was provided to him, O’Keefe said, by people inside the network.

A Huffington Post reporter, who was also on the radio program, asked if O’Keefe had acquired the footage from camera or set crew members who would have access to it, but he declined to say. Networks record off-air interactions between hosts, reporters and guests, and a crew member sympathetic to O’Keefe’s cause could potentially access a lot of material.

After the radio interview was recorded, HuffPost asked if O’Keefe would be releasing footage from multiple newsrooms or just one. “One corporation, multiple newsrooms,” he said.

O’Keefe said he’d be releasing the footage “WikiLeaks-style.” In fact, WikiLeaks has several distinct styles. At times, the organization has worked with major media outlets to break stories. In other instances, it has dumped everything it had on the internet at once. In the case of the John Podesta emails, WikiLeaks released new batches day by day.

O’Keefe wouldn’t divulge which particular network would be hit, but said it was one President Donald Trump has spent much time talking about recently. “It’s the one he’s always targeting,” O’Keefe said.

That would seem to suggest CNN. Trump has been on a tear against the network since it revealed the existence of an allegedly embarrassing dossier that intelligence agencies were investigating.

A CNN spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Last month, O’Keefe warned that he was “going after the media next” during an appearance at a pro-Trump inauguration event. “We’re inside their newsrooms,” he said.

O’Keefe first gained fame in 2009 with undercover videos targeting ACORN, a now-shuttered nonprofit that advocated on affordable housing, voter registration and other issues. After it was discovered that footage was deceptively edited, O’Keefe lost much of his credibility. His videos, while still heralded by conservatives, are now largely dismissed in the mainstream media.

It remains to be seen whether O’Keefe will produce any newsworthy footage this time. But if he has the goods, the national media will surely pay attention.

Paris Jackson Is Grown Up And Gorgeous On Cover Of CR Fashion Book

It’s been a busy two months for Paris Jackson. She was Rolling Stone’s February 2017 cover star, she hit a style home run at the Grammys, and now she’s one of CR Fashion Book’s latest cover stars.

Rocking a blue Gucci gown, a totally rad, cropped hairdo, a bold red lip and long red nails, the 18-year-old and her piercing blue eyes looked gorgeous on one of three covers of the issue.

Jackson joined rapper Gucci Mane and model Halima Aden, who each got their own respective covers, and was interviewed by director Lee Daniels inside the mag. Revealing that she hopes to possess her father’s “strength,” she explained how big of an influence he still has on her life.

“I would say 99 percent of my inspiration comes from him, because he has always been my world,” she said. “He is my roots.”

Jackson, who told Daniels she is currently “doing the modeling thing,” is also interested in acting and being involved in activism. She has a tattoo for Standing Rock and stands firmly against the utilization of real fur and leather in fashion. She also has seven piercings to represent her father’s favorite number and has upcoming plans to get a new tattoo with her mom, Debbie Rowe, who recently finished chemotherapy.

If this interview is any indication, we have a feeling we’re about to see ― and learn ― a lot more about Jackson than ever before.

Constituents Shout Down Republican When She Ducks A Question About Obamacare

Constituents at a veterans’ town hall for Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) angrily drowned her out on Tuesday when she couldn’t say what GOP lawmakers plan to do once they fulfill their promise to repeal the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

At the event in Maquoketa, Iowa, Ernst could not name any specific proposals. She would only say that she intends to keep two key provisions of the health care law: one that allows children under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ insurance plans and another that provides insurance coverage to people with pre-existing conditions.

GOP lawmakers across the country have been facing raucous crowds at constituent town halls, with voters confronting them about their lack of a replacement plan for the Affordable Care Act and asking whether they will stand up to the Trump administration on controversial issues, rather than simply fall in line.

Ernst ended the town hall after only 45 minutes, following the question about Obamacare. Most of the audience’s questions dealt with local veterans’ issues.

According to local news reports, hundreds of people packed the small room, bringing signs and chanting “Do your job,” “Your last term,” and “Work for us.”

One veteran asked Ernst about whether she would do more to investigate Russia “meddling in our elections and meddling with our democracy.” When Ernst noted that last week, she called on President Donald Trump to “stand up against Vladimir Putin,” constituents shouted: “Investigate Trump!”

Ernst’s fellow senator, Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), also faced hostile crowds at a town hall event on Tuesday. Constituents asked questions about the Affordable Care Act and about Grassley’s decision to block hearings on former President Barack Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland.

Anti-Mosquito Candles Totally Don't Work

Today in science that turns out to be totally bunk: Citronella candles warding off mosquitoes. At least, the natural “repellant” doesn’t seem to have any effect on one of the most notorious disease-spreading blood suckers on Earth.

NERF Who? Go for the Beaver Blaster

So you want to shoot your enemies with foam projectiles. Sure, you could go for the latest and greatest NERF weapon, or you could just blast them with your beaver! Yep, this is an actual thing.

The Beaver Blaster can fire its simulated wood projectile up to 20 feet. Simply load up its mouth, then slap down its tail, and the ball goes flying. What could be more fun? Don’t believe me? Check it out in the video below:

So what sort of crazy people would make such a weapon? Well, this happens to come from the same guys who make weapons that fire marshmallows. Now why the beaver doesn’t fire marshmallows, I have no idea, but I guess you can grab one now and see what happens if you load a marshmallow into its mouth instead of its foam ball.
