A New Jersey family somehow escaped with just minor cuts after a flying turkey slammed into their rental SUV’s windshield on an Indiana highway.

The 30-pound tom was killed on impact after striking the vehicle that John Tarabocchia was driving on U.S. 20 around 25 miles west of South Bend at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

I thought he was gonna clear the roof, but he didn’t,” Tarabocchia, from Emerson, told the The Indianapolis Star. “He went straight through the windshield.”

The turkey was one of four that were flying across the road, said La Porte County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Michael Kellems. “I’ve been a policeman for 31 years and I’ve never seen something like that,” he added.

Tarabocchia was driving his wife, son and mother-in-law to Chicago O’Hare International Airport when the turkey struck. They’d been visiting his daughter, Riana, at the University of Notre Dame, who was attending a program for accepted students.

He managed to pull the vehicle over safely. A driver of a passing vehicle took the bird home. The family obtained another rental car and made their return flight.

The sheriff’s office noted on Facebook that it’s mating season for wild turkeys, “which means that they are often on the move and can be as hazardous as deer.” In a similar frightening incident, a 19-pound male turkey flew into the windshield of an 18-wheeler in New Hampshire on March 21.

Aunt Viv Of 'Fresh Prince' Calls Co-Star A 'Media Hoe' After Reunion Photo

function onPlayerReadyVidible(e){‘undefined’!=typeof HPTrack&&HPTrack.Vid.Vidible_track(e)}!function(e,i){if(e.vdb_Player){if(‘object’==typeof commercial_video){var a=”,o=’m.fwsitesection=’+commercial_video.site_and_category;if(a+=o,commercial_video[‘package’]){var c=’&m.fwkeyvalues=sponsorship%3D’+commercial_video[‘package’];a+=c}e.setAttribute(‘vdb_params’,a)}i(e.vdb_Player)}else{var t=arguments.callee;setTimeout(function(){t(e,i)},0)}}(document.getElementById(‘vidible_1’),onPlayerReadyVidible);

This sitcom feud just got refreshed.

The day after a photo emerged of the cast of “The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” reuniting at the beach, one left-out actress lashed out big-time.

Janet Hubert, who played Aunt Vivian for three seasons before tensions led to her departure, wrote a scathing message Tuesday on Facebook in which she called Carlton Banks actor Alfonso Ribeiro a “media hoe” and an “ass wipe” for star Will Smith. She also pledged to up her efforts to pitch a memoir about the “behind the scenes story” of the show.

Here’s a screenshot of a portion of the post:

There is no love lost between Hubert and Smith and Co. She was replaced on “French Prince” by Daphne Maxwell Reid in 1993. Reid appeared in this week’s viral picture of the beaming cast.

Always amazing to spend an afternoon with my Fresh Prince family. Wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete.

A post shared by Alfonso Ribeiro (@therealalfonsoribeiro) on Mar 27, 2017 at 5:27pm PDT

Smith told an Atlanta radio station in 1993 that Hubert “wanted the show to be ‘The Aunt Viv of Bel-Air Show’ because I know she is going to dog me in the press.”

The snipes have erupted from time to time over the years. In 2016, Hubert even slammed Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, for urging a boycott of the Oscars to protest the lack of nominations for people of color.

BioWare Will Share Mass Effect: Andromeda Plans On 4th April

With Mass Effect being the beloved franchise that it is, safe to say that many were eagerly anticipating Mass Effect: Andromeda as it would be the first Mass Effect game that would not feature some of the characters that many players have grown to love. Based on the reviews, it seems that there are mixed reviews about the game, although most have been positive.

However BioWare has recently acknowledged that there is some criticism about the game and that this is something the company plans on addressing in the near future. In a post on Twitter, BioWare has announced that come 4th of April, they will be sharing details about their plans for the game moving forward.

Part of the message reads, “We’ve received quite a bit of feedback, some of it positive and some of it critical. That feedback is an important part of our ongoing support of the game, and we can’t wait to share more of our immediate plans with you on Tuesday, April 4.” BioWare did not detail what will be shared, but hopefully when they do share their plans, they will also address some of the issues gamers have had with the game, such as its animations which remains a point of contention.

The Original StarCraft Is Now Free

When StarCraft Remastered was announced last week, it was also revealed by Blizzard that they planned to issue a patch for the original StarCraft that would make it a free game. Note that this isn’t a free-to-play game with in-app purchases, but a game that is completely free from start to end.

Given that the original StarCraft is close to two decades old, there might not necessarily be a rush to get the game, but in case you’re interested it looks like the game is already free and available for download. To be fair the original StarCraft did play a big role in RTS games being a competitive genre in the eSports scene, so if you’re wondering what all the fuss is about, you can check it out if you are interested via the StarCraft forums.

In the meantime for those hearing about StarCraft Remastered for the first time, this will essentially be the original StarCraft game that some of you guys might be familiar with, except that it will be given a graphics overhaul to make it look more modern, at least by today’s standards. It will also come with support for Blizzard’s online services and what not.

Players who are playing the free version of the game have the option to upgrade to the Remastered copy for when it releases this summer, and their progression will be carried forwards.

Nintendo Switch In Japan Reportedly Selling Faster Than PS4

While the Wii U was considered by many to be a flop, especially following the success of the Wii, the Nintendo Switch seems to be redeeming Nintendo in the eyes of gamers. In fact according to data compiled by market research firm Media Create, it turns out that the Switch is selling faster at launch compared to that of the PS4.

If you might recall, an earlier report revealed that the Switch had managed to sell 300,000 units in its first week, although those numbers did put it slightly behind the PS4 which sold 322,100 units. However according to Media Create, they are now claiming that as of March 26, 2017, the Switch has managed to sell 519,504 units in Japan. This is versus the PS4 which managed to sell 439,810 units within the same amount of time.

So far the Switch has been met with pretty good reviews, save for a few aspects of the console such as the Joy-Con’s connectivity which Nintendo has since claimed that they have addressed. The Switch’s success also appears to be largely thanks to games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild which has received near-perfect reviews and ratings across various publications and websites.

Please Stop Asking Morgan Freeman To Record Your Voicemail Messages

No, Morgan Freeman doesn’t want to record your damn voicemail message.

On Wednesday’s “Late Night,” the Hollywood actor revealed “it gets exhausting” when fans approach him for a customized answerphone greeting.

“You know, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said, ‘Hello, this is so and so… is not willing to come to the phone right now,’” he told host Seth Meyers.

Nowadays, Freeman said he’ll only record a message if he’s lost “a big bet,” such as the one he forfeited to Zach Braff, who directed “Going in Style” ― in which he stars alongside Michael Caine.

Freeman later turned down Meyers’ offer to record a greeting for him, claiming he already had the “absolute perfect telephone answerer” — the guy who installed his phone system in the first place.

“So the one place you can’t hear an outgoing voicemail from Morgan Freeman is on Morgan Freeman’s phone,” Meyers quipped. Touché.
