Hulu Live TV Streaming Service Price May Be $39.99

Hulu confirmed several months back that it’s working on a standalone online TV streaming service that will enable people to cut the cord and pay a set fee every month without any contracts to watch live TV on any device that they want. It hasn’ revealed more details about the service since then, so while we wait for the official word on how many networks it’s going to support, a new report says that the Hulu live TV streaming service monthly subscription price is going to be $39.99.

Citing sources with knowledge of the company’s plans, TechCrunch reports that Hulu’s live TV streaming service is likely going to be priced at $39.99 per month. For this price, subscribers will have to put up with ads but they will also get access to Hulu’s entire on-demand library of movies, TV shows, and original content.

This seems plausible when you consider the fact that Hulu CEO Mike Hopkins previously said that the new service is going to cost under $40. At $39.99, it does technically qualify is being under $40.

The scribe does point out that the $39.99 price is not set in stone right now and there’s a possibility that it might come down. Hulu has not yet officially confirmed the price and it will only do that once the service is officially announced.

Today’s report also claims that Hulu is going to sell subscribers an add-on package which will provide them with an unlimited cloud DVR that supports recording of up to 200 hours of programming with unlimited streams.

Original Windows 10 Release Support Ends May 9th

Microsoft has confirmed that it’s going to end support for the original release version of Windows 10, version 1507 to be precise, next month. Microsoft was actually supposed to do this on March 26th as part of its shift to the Windows as a Service model. However, it decided to delay ending support for this version and has now announced that it’s finally going to go through with this in May.

So what does it mean that it’s going to end support for this version? Microsoft points out that those who are still running Windows 10 version 1507 will no longer receive any security and quality updates after it ends support.

There’s a solution to this and it’s very easy. Just upgrade your PC to the latest version of Windows 10. You can do that for free and if you’re facing this problem, you already own a PC that’s capable of running Windows 10.

Those who don’t decide to update can continue using Windows 10 version 1507 on their PCs but they do that at their own peril because they will no longer receive any security updates which will protect them against the threats that lurk at every corner.

Users can upgrade to the latest version of Windows 10 for free by heading to Microsoft’s software download page and clicking on the “Update now” button. It’s as simple as that.
