For everyone who has off days, can’t get out of bed or deeply feels the futility of everyday life, there’s Gudetama, Sanrio’s fried egg who constantly wallows around giving off Resting “Meh” Face.

He’s tired, he’s lazy, and he has a cute little butt. The character is a bit enigmatic, seeming to shrug in the face of cheerier cartoon counterparts like Hello Kitty and co. Unlike those perpetually smiling characters (that is, if they have a mouth at all), he lives in a world that allows space for our less pleasant tendencies.

That acceptance — the fact that we all have a little Gudetama in us — is part of what makes the character so appealing.

Is it the weekend yet…

Now here’s some Gude news: Our ovoid friend is filling in for some of art history’s most famous faces.

If you’re a little rusty on famous paintings, here are the O.G. versions to compare.

Dave Marchi, vice president of brand management and marketing at Sanrio, described the collection in the following statement.

The Gudetama “Museum” Collection is a design series developed for Japan and inspired by Gudetama’s visits to museums around the world. Select pieces from the series are currently available on sanrio.com; expanded distribution is in the works for later this year.

For a lazy egg, Gudetama sure gets a lot of traveling done. A Facebook post from the official Gudetama page hints that other artworks, like “The Scream” by Edvard Munch and “The Birth of Venus” by Botticelli, will soon get the Gudetama treatment, too.

If you’re a fan of the “Mona Lisa” and “The Milkmaid” images, you can grab them on postcards, memo pads, notebooks and clear files

Utah Brothers Put Up Billboards Demanding Jason Chaffetz Do His Job

Two brothers have crowdfunded over $12,000 to erect billboards calling on Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, to investigate connections between Russia and the Trump administration.

Jeremy and Chris Voros formed their own political action committee called U Work 4 Utah in March, aimed at erecting several billboards around Utah County, near Chaffetz’s local headquarters. The duo launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise up to $22,900 to display the messages for a month.

“We believe in using modern fundraising tools in creative ways to persuade our elected officials to act in accordance with real Utah values, instead of doing the bidding of their donors, friends in DC, or dictators in Moscow,” the pair wrote on their funding page.

On Tuesday, the first billboard went up.

“Why won’t Chaffetz investigate the Trump-Russia connection?” reads the 48-foot-wide billboard, erected in Provo.

In February, Chaffetz announced he wouldn’t be looking into the questions about Michael Flynn, President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, being in contact with the Russian government before Trump took office. Flynn was embroiled in a firestorm after The Washington Post revealed he’d misled Vice President Mike Pence about conversations he’d had with Russia’s ambassador to the United States. Flynn resigned days later.

Despite calls from his colleagues to investigate the connection between the administration and a foreign government, Chaffetz said the situation was “taking care of itself.”

The Voros brothers, both registered Republicans, say they tried to ask Chaffetz about the decision at his town hall in February, but were dismissed alongside other attendees. Chaffetz later claimed the hundreds of angry, shouting voters at the event were paid protesters sent to “bully and intimidate,” prompting the brothers to launch their PAC.

“The more traditional methods of getting our elected officials’ attention do not seem to be working,” Jeremy Voros told The Salt Lake Tribune.

The crowdfunding campaign is ongoing and, if fully funded, would result in several printed billboards and one electronic sign to be displayed near busy transport corridors in Chaffetz’s home district.

Chaffetz himself, alerted to the billboards by the Tribune, had a simple message for the brothers: “They can keep wasting their money. It’s up to them.”

Olivia Asks The Big 'What If' Question In Exclusive Clip From 100th 'Scandal’ Episode

function onPlayerReadyVidible(e){‘undefined’!=typeof HPTrack&&HPTrack.Vid.Vidible_track(e)}!function(e,i){if(e.vdb_Player){if(‘object’==typeof commercial_video){var a=”,o=’m.fwsitesection=’+commercial_video.site_and_category;if(a+=o,commercial_video[‘package’]){var c=’&m.fwkeyvalues=sponsorship%3D’+commercial_video[‘package’];a+=c}e.setAttribute(‘vdb_params’,a)}i(e.vdb_Player)}else{var t=arguments.callee;setTimeout(function(){t(e,i)},0)}}(document.getElementById(‘vidible_1’),onPlayerReadyVidible);

Warning: Mild spoilers ahead for Season 6 of “Scandal,” Episode 10 (“The Decision”).

In the upcoming milestone 100th episode, “Scandal” poses the big “what if” question. What if Olivia (Kerry Washington), Mellie (Bellamy Young), and Cyrus (Jeff Perry) had never rigged Fitz’s election? What if Olivia got to live happily ever after for once? And what if she wasn’t a total badass? Just kidding — you know Olivia can handle herself in any hypothetical timeline.

In an exclusive clip from this week’s episode, the love triangle of the decade, i.e., Olivia, Jake (Scott Foley) and Fitz (Tony Goldwyn), convene in the Oval Office to decide how to proceed after the revelation that Olivia’s father assassinated President-elect Frankie Vargas. Jake’s answer? To agree to another rigged election that would put Mellie in the White House.

That’s what gets Olivia thinking about the consequences of her actions and what would have happened had she just let things be all those years ago.

“I guarantee Fitz’s life would be a million times worse, if you hadn’t rigged that election,” Jake tells Olivia. “Yours too.”

Watch the clip above.

“Scandal” airs Thursdays on ABC at 9 p.m./8 p.m. central.

Some Very Famous Armenians Support 'The Promise' At LA Premiere

function onPlayerReadyVidible(e){‘undefined’!=typeof HPTrack&&HPTrack.Vid.Vidible_track(e)}!function(e,i){if(e.vdb_Player){if(‘object’==typeof commercial_video){var a=”,o=’m.fwsitesection=’+commercial_video.site_and_category;if(a+=o,commercial_video[‘package’]){var c=’&m.fwkeyvalues=sponsorship%3D’+commercial_video[‘package’];a+=c}e.setAttribute(‘vdb_params’,a)}i(e.vdb_Player)}else{var t=arguments.callee;setTimeout(function(){t(e,i)},0)}}(document.getElementById(‘vidible_1’),onPlayerReadyVidible);

The new film “The Promise” has generated buzz for tackling a difficult subject ― the Armenian genocide during World War I.

But on Wednesday the historical drama got another kind of boost from some Armenian-American celebrities.

Cher, Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian united on the red carpet to support the film at its Los Angeles premiere.

“No one knows about the genocide, so it’s important that people know,” Cher tells Entertainment Tonight in the clip above.

Kim Kardashian, whose father, the late Robert Kardashian, was of Armenian descent, toured the genocide memorial in Yerevan, Armenia, in 2015. She urged moviegoers on social media to check out the film.

“The Promise” stars Christian Bale, Oscar Isaac and Charlotte Le Bon in a romantic triangle set against the Ottoman Empire’s annihilation of Armenians. Approximately 1.5 million Armenians were said to have died between 1915 and 1923 as a result of the atrocities.

The movie hits theaters April 21.

Restored War Documentary 'The Memory Of Justice' Is Timelier Than Ever

function onPlayerReadyVidible(e){‘undefined’!=typeof HPTrack&&HPTrack.Vid.Vidible_track(e)}!function(e,i){if(e.vdb_Player){if(‘object’==typeof commercial_video){var a=”,o=’m.fwsitesection=’+commercial_video.site_and_category;if(a+=o,commercial_video[‘package’]){var c=’&m.fwkeyvalues=sponsorship%3D’+commercial_video[‘package’];a+=c}e.setAttribute(‘vdb_params’,a)}i(e.vdb_Player)}else{var t=arguments.callee;setTimeout(function(){t(e,i)},0)}}(document.getElementById(‘vidible_1’),onPlayerReadyVidible);

The 1976 documentary “The Memory of Justice” might as well have been made yesterday. Newly restored and premiering on HBO this month, Marcel Ophüls’ nearly five-hour film uses the Holocaust, Vietnam and other human tragedies to explore the notion of collective versus individual responsibility. The thesis: Any group in power is capable of war atrocities.

The Huffington Post is exclusively premiering the trailer ahead of the movie’s April 24 debut. Inspired by Nuremberg prosecutor Telford Taylor’s book Nuremberg and Vietnam: An American Tragedy, “The Memory of Justice” premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and earned a glowing New York Times review. “’The Memory of Justice’ is long but it rivets the mind and the emotions so consistently that I can think of a dozen ninety-minute movies far more difficult to endure,” critic Vincent Canby wrote.

Here's What Demi Lovato Does When She Has 'Bad Body Image Issue Days'

Demi Lovato is a body positive hero, even when she’s having an off day.

The mental health advocate and constant truth-teller delivered some words of self-love wisdom on Twitter Tuesday. Lovato, who has been open about her struggles with anorexia and bulimia, wrote that whenever she is having a bad body image day, she gives herself an eye-opening reminder.

“I’d rather live in freedom from my eating disorder than worry about what people think about my body,” she wrote. “I am more than a number and a jean size. Fuck yeah!”

Yeah is right. Having a bad day is totally normal, but it’s so easy to lose sight of the fact that things could be much worse. You don’t need to have struggled with an eating disorder to appreciate the fact that your health and happiness mean so much more than what other people think about you.

Lovato constantly uses her platform to remind us that we’re perfect as is. Just a few days earlier, following the release of Kendrick Lamar’s polarizing ode to stretch marks, she celebrated being “totally cool with” her own.

BRB, bookmarking Lovato’s Twitter feed for the next time we need a refresher in what honest self-love looks like.
